Very helpful staff. Small children are welcome. If you need something they try to solve the issue and never give you the feeling that they are annoyed.

For a six week business stay in Zurich, I chose this hotel as it is conveniently close to the office. And for this purpose, the hotel is absolutely perfect. Wallisellen train station at 600 meters distance offers some shopping and a few restaurants, and of course direct transportation to Zurich main station. There is a tram stop at only 100 meters distance for the tram going directly to Zurich airport.
Facilities, rooms, food and service are of good to very good quality and as far as I can judge at normal rates for Zurich (where everything is expensive).

The rooms are fine. Breakfast is fairly basic but the quality is fine. In hot weather however you should not stay at this hotel. There is no air conditioning and essentially the hotel is on a main road so opening the window makes it too noisy to sleep. I stayed for three nights whilst the temperature was around 30 degrees and proper sleep was impossible.

Hotel is well located for visits to Zurich city centre, only a 10mins train journey to the main train station. On first impressions this is a very good hotel, pristine, well decorated and great check in, with our room able to be swapped with no problems as we'd accidentally booked a single instead of a double. However, I found the room slightly disappointing, in a 4* hotel I would expect complementary mineral water or tea and coffee facilities in the room, there was neither. Also the room lacked an iron & ironing board, which again is something I would expect to find in a 4* hotel. There was more noise from other guests talking and banging doors than I would have expected. I found the bed to be incredibly uncomfortable (extremely hard) and had an appalling night's sleep. The adjoining bar and restaurant were very good, we enjoyed a delicious Italian meal in the evening.

Good service and food but room is very basic, has no airconditioning and windows looking on busy street. Difficult to have good night rest.

I'm really happy that I picked Belair Hotel for my stay in Wallisellen near Zurich. If you're looking for a decent hotel with a proper breakfast, exceptional staff taking care of you as a guest wherever you're from it's probably no better hotel. Good value for money albeit stay in Switzerland is not going to be cheap.
