Good location as it's within 5 minutes walking distance to the train station. However, the kitchen is not well maintained and without an oven. There's only a small microwave. The cooking utensils are worn out and dirty.
The staff doesn't converse much in English so it could be hard to communicate if you don't speak the local language.

We had a room with a great view of the Matterhorn. Our room did have its own bathroom and the hotel is right on the end of the main street- making it a great location. We would come back. The staff was helpful and spoke English.

Beautiful hotel with shared bathrooms. Have strict rules that you should check in within 12.have great view. Can see mt matterhorn through room windows on clear weather sky. Good kitchen to cook and clean rooms with shared bathrooms

Just awesome, has a nice kitchen and dining room.
Only problem is that there's no elevator, so if you're living at the top floor it might be hard to carry a 25 kilos bag to 4th floor! Highly recommend it. It's just outside the Zermatt train station.

The hotel is located right next to the Zermatt train station as the name suggests. I stayed in the dorm, which turned out to be a 13 bed bunk bed dorm. The dorm is situated on the uppermost level of the hotel (level 4) which also turned out to be the attic. It was quite a hassle climbing up the stairs as there was no lift available. The roof is also quite low and you will need to duck down to avoid the roof supports. The dorm itself was very clean and spacious though. Everyone gets their own small locker, personal light and also a charging port. The windows also have a view of the Matterhorn peak. The toilets and shower room were strewn around the lower floors and are clean and comfortable. There is also a big kitchen and common room in the basement fully equipped for us to whip up a scrumptious meal.

Easy to find, very close to the station. The kitchen is really big and full of kitchenware. The stove works at 6AM and you can store the food in their fridge. I booked a room for 4 people with private bathroom. A hairdryer is provided but shampoo and soap are not.

The view was wonderful. We stayed in the room with a bathroom facing Matterhorn. The location was perfect and service was friendly. Door came open if you didn't close it just right, and the balcony was shared.

Great place to stay if you like to do by yourself. A great area to make friends as you cook. The view of the room we stayed is straight to the montain!

Clean rooms and amenities, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Location is also perfect, right across the train station you can't miss it.

I stayed here as part of a multi-day hike that was booked through a website. The hotel itself was great and the staff were wonderful. It's a 1-star but honestly it felt like more, especially after the hiking.
