Beautiful rooms, nice location, although there are better locations around, a little too quite for my taste

I really loved it here. My room was spacious and cozy. Bathroom is better than at home. The hotel provides you with all possible toiletries and even a sewing kit. There a sauna, a steam room, jacuzzi and a pool. Everything is so cozy, comfortable, friendly and home-like that I felt like I was visiting my rich uncle :) Very nice addition, whem I've entered my room, there was a bottle of wine waiting for me, as well as some chocolate, local sweets and even gummy bears. All possible details show you that the host is really taking care of you. Definitely going to recommend this place to everyone. Sincerely going to brag about being here xD

War bei meinem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Ruhige Lage, schöne Zimmer, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, feines Frühstück. Leider war ich für das Japan Restaurant etwas zu spät. Next time!

What an amazing stay at the Hotel Alban Real.
We had one of the renewed room, which are very modern and cozy. Furthermore the breakfast room and the two asian restaurants are excellent.
Not to forget the bar with its amazing smoking lounge and its whiskeys.

Overall a regular hotel considering it has 4*. We only stayed here as we did not find other options for our big group, and my feeling was they abused the "Zermatt" brand. Sorry guys, not just because you are in Zermatt you can milk the customers.
Pros: In between the village and the cable car so it allows you to easy go out at night and not take the bus (you can walk) when going to ski in the morning. Wellness is quite good while not amazing.
Cons: The room was a bit cold, wifi not complimentary, breakfast was enough but not as good as many other hotels in Zermatt, minibar empty (you need to tell them what to fill it with), taxi to train station not complimentary as oposite to most hotels in Zermatt. When we arrived at night the bar was not opened and they would not serve us a drink.response / report this review -
