  Great place to stay, cozy and quite. We really enjoyed 2 nights in one of the chalets.
  - 25 minutes walk from train station, you can as well book an electric taxi for free. We preferred walking as surroundings are just amazing
  - hotel is one of the closest to Matterhorn, so awesome view guaranteed. The photo attached is how the mountain looked from Stella, chalet we stayed in.
  - make sure you visit sauna, which is partly underground with elevator. Jacuzzi and resting area are upstairs with an amazing view (again). This is low season now, so for both days sauna was serving just two of us, so we observed the sun going down by Matterhorn. This all comes included, you don't pay extra.
  - they serve breakfast with all the stuff you will need, also included. With a nice view of Matterhorn as usual:)
  - great service , hostess was more than welcoming, giving us all the hints and advice on getting the best of the time we had.
  - we also had dinner in the restaurant, which was good and reasonably priced with excellent service as well
  - location is close to gondolas to Matterhorn, make sure though you have warm clothes:) it was -7 with strong winds up on the mountain while +10 in Zermatt.
  
  Overall this place is not the cheapest one, but definitely worth each frank,I highly recommend it.

  Awesome! Picturesque view of the Matterhorn that really is breath taking. Very clean facilities. It is a bit of a walk to down town but definitely worth being closer to the view.

  Breakfast was complete with an option of egg serving, but not included in ghe hotel price, which was a bit disappointing given the price.
  Views were great, basically this us the first house of the village so it was beautiful. The cost though is the hotel is far from the center, so it is a bit tough to go back and forth and if you add taxi costs to it, then it is a bit painful.
  The rooms were a bit vintage, but we wondered whether this was done in purpose.
  The spa was nice, with sauna, steam sauna, relax area and jacuzzi, great!
  And last but nit least the people in the hotel were very nice. Overall I would not mind going there again.

  Stayed here heaps, a nice family run place with good food, you can ski back to the door in high season
