Very expensive, rooms too small. Staff was not very kind to give ju least a room with a terrace. Room is like a box. Smallest I've seen in my life!

The perfect place to organise an after work drink for a group. Great wine selection. An outdoor terrace and in case of rain which we had you fold back into the bar.

I expected more from this hotel. I waited my room since 12h untill 15h. Here was easy breakfast. Very small room but with balcony, all is clean and design is quite good. Normal WiFi. Ordinary staff.

Great food. Lively interiors and rooms. The staff was helpful and the view was quite nice and it was possible to see lake Geneva from the window.

Carpet was dirty - we found two hair clip. Wardrobs was to small and uncomfortable for people less than two meters of growth. Room was arranged in style of Bell Epoque but there weren't cup of coffee or tea but only mismatched glasses. But the worst was bathroom: sink was yellowish, on walls of shower was mushrooms - black stand, tile near toalet was broken. In hotel cleanliness is the one of most importer things. When you see marble in hall you can expect that room is clean.

Everything had been great until I had a terrible experience with the man who was at front desk on Saturday night. He was totally rude and silly when I asked him for some matches, he said that as it was not allowed to smoke in the room, he wasn't giving me any, and that we would only give them to me if I went downstairs again and out of the building to smoke. My room had a balcony with an asher on the table anyway. That's not the matter, my only complaint on my stay in this hotel is exclusively and directly on that person, it's a shame how a pleasing experience can turn all the way around making you never want to come back.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, the room was a bit on the small side though. Great location right next to the metro, there staff have us a free metro pass for the duration of our stay.

The Carlton is well located, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. The shower drain in my room was clogged which necessitated very short (~2 minutes) showers to avoid flooding the bathroom as the basin was very shallow. I reported this to reception the first morning however it was not repaired during my three night stay. Note that the breakfast is not free as the google page suggests. There are two room rates, one with breakfast included and one without.
