Friendly staff and close to town. Free transport card was a bonus! Downside is price but that's Switzerland
Simple camping with all necessary facilities. Car parking on terrain close to tent
Very friendly staff, good located to start a city tour and also next to the lake.
Washhouses are old and not very convenient.
À bit Old fashioned, but very very well welcomed !
Excellent and funny location. Good food, fast service, good prices aligned with overall Lausanne. Pizza was great.
We stayed 1 night last summer
PRO:
+: You can choose your own campsite on the grass
+: A beautiful surrounding with the lake of geneve and the great mountains
+: Supermarket on sight
CONS:
-: Loud youth at night (till -/+ 04:00)
-: Old sanitary facilities/showers
CONCLUSION
It's great stop and go camping, but its not a camping if you go for a rest.
So noisy! We only stayed here for one night, we were put near the bar and there was a private function on the night we were there so we couldn't use the bar and we were woken up at 2am by loud music from the bar, we drove around the campsite and there wasn't anywhere we couldn't hear the music so we had to drive outside to the europark next door and sleep in there, then drive back in in the morning to pay, we did get a discount but we wouldn't go there again, it's also right near the motorway so not a great area and most of the campsite is permanent bungalows.
There's a massive construction happening right next to this place. Expect to wake up to the romantic sounds of jack hammers and bulldozers. Also, somehow the whole place smells like the toilets. When we asked about this we were told this is due to the lake and old plumbing and, of course, the construction. This place would have been beautiful but I don't recommend camping here.
Nice place at the lake. For a camping a really clean area.
This place is just the most beautiful place on earth with all the infrastructures you will need for sport for free most of the time. The restaurant is awful and expensive, the camping has probably more than 50 years and has never been changed or modernised. The French (from France most of them probably 100%) employees do not behave like Swiss people (sorry for the generality) but foreign customers don't care of such details (those employees never smile, not polite, always angry and don't care about customers sitting as they never see new customers coming : so up to you to ask them to come to you for ordering your coffees). The camping is closed in winter and is not a 4 season camping
Excellent place for camping. Many sites for barbecue. View of the lake is great as well.
