1. We took the apartment attached to the hotel as we wanted the space for a week stay. 2. The furnishings were spartan even for just the two of us, a leather couch which caused one to slide down, a tv set with no english choices. 3. cleaning the place, changing the sheets incurred extra charges, no dishwashing utensils or even toiletries in the bathroom. This is the first place we have experienced such facilities. 4. The halfboard changed in menu daily. We were amused with menu offering "Iridescent shark" : it was not shark but something else. 5. Staff was pleasant, fast and smiled after a few days. 6. The tourist info next door is most helpful. 7. Two supermarkets within 5 mins walk. 8, Rail station 10 mins away. 9. WiFi could be improved to cover the rooms. 10. All in all, a good experience.

Terrible place to stay. Avoid. Reception can't give directions how to get to the hotel with large vehicle.

Really charming semi - deluxe hotel with most attentive personnel. Pet dog accepted though only, it seems, in the wooden chalet - style section which can be, like all wooden buildings, disturbingly noisy if you have fellow residents staying up late or rising before dawn.
Lovely swimming pool, elegant breakfast room and a quite reasonable grand piano to play. Breakfast good (but nothing cooked -?unless asked? ) and pleasant restaurant attached - elaborate and expensive menu.
Unusual hotel with comfortable atmosphere. In the very centre of small town with spectacular ramparts of mountains and glaciers all round.response / report this review -

We visited in the summer when the hotel was very quiet (strange vibe in such a large hotel) and there appeared to be limited staff. Rooms ok - large, but a little soul-less and bathrooms strangely laid out (toilet stopping for from opening properly). Wifi didn't work properly in our room. I think it would be different in winter when fully booked and more lively. Beautiful views from most parts of the hotel and an outdoor terrace for meals/drinks. It's a shame that you have to pay to use the sauna when many other hotels offer this for free.

Apartments are awesome and very spacious. Super friendly staff. Awesome location. Great parking. Close to grocery store and mountain. Not a bad thing to day about this place.

Wooden floors in the rooms are not soundproofed! Very disappointed as the hotel looked so welcoming on our arrival but seems understaffed in the dining room.

Found hairs in the shower, the bedsheets were stained and when questioned, the manager was extremely rude. Would not recommend.

Stayed on a half board basis. 4 course dinners and breakfast selections were fabulous. Enjoyed the common areas more than the room. The furniture in the room needed to be reupholstered.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung und delikatem Restaurant. Nur das Morgenessen war etwas magerinsgesamt aber sehr gut!
