Brought my 9.5 month old kitten here one afternoon due to lethargy and poor intake of fluids and solids after 2 prior visit for other GI issues (i do take that into consideration). The doctor who saw my kitten was clueless. Looked completely dumbfounded. It was not Dr. Bath, but the other "doctor". He said all my kitten needed was IV with dextrose to help with his blood sugars and to be force fed a bit. They kept him for about 8 hours. I called the vet that evening and he said my kitten was doing very well and he could come home. My kitten came home late Sunday night and he died during the night and we found him Monday morning. I brought his body in the next day for cremation and I was shocked that they were still expecting me to pay the vet bill from the day before after they wrongfully or neglected adequate "treatment" for my baby leading to his death. I have been coming here for years with my senior dog and was always skeptical but i never listened to my gut as my dog was doing so well. Dr. Bath is better than the idiot who saw my kitten but the downside to him is his lack of compassion and note taking. He relies on his memory for continuity of care and it's awful because whenever he isn't there, no one covering knows what's going on! He didn't even have notes on my dogs medications and why she needed them the last time i went in for a refill. I am urging my family to all take our pets elsewhere and i urge you to do the same.
Worst vet ever. To not take your animals here. Dr bath doesn't care about the animals. We brought our healthy dog in with a cut on his paw. He wanted to do X-rays and all this stuff to get more money. He proscribed a drug that killed our little dog. Dr bath now says he had all these issues. Dr bath killed our dog and will not even say sorry but get out. Again if you value your pets life do not go here.
Very knowledgable staff and a brilliant doctor who are all true animal lovers. Open till midnight so you can bring in emergencies without having to pay an after hours fee.
Brought my 11 mo kitten in, excellent staff. Dealt with day and evening vet assistants, both super friendly and knowledgeable. There was a bit of delay and I was promptly given information with no beating around the bush. I would recommend this vet 100%
The hrs this vet is open was perfect and the fact that the cost was lower. They were fast and didn't beat around the bush about what was going on with my pet. This place has late hours without the high costs of an emergency or after hours vet.
I hate overpaying for things and at this clinic this simply does not happen! I find Dr Bath and his associates to be very fair when it comes to pricing and I love that they do not try to up sell you to things your dog really does not need. Their long hours of operation makes it so that you do not have to go to the outrageously priced emergency clinics, and he DOES NOT ask for the credit card first like those emergency clinics do. It is nice to know that vet such as Dr Bath is available and at a fair cost.
A pomchi was viciously attacked by two larger dogs we did not think he would make it by the time we had Gotton him to willowbrook vet I had asked if there was a chance of saving our little guy, of course I was going to want the dog to make it!!!! that night I got a call back from the vet the x-ray showed a small punctured lung and two broken ribs and they were going to go ahead with Surgery I had called them numerous times and didn't get a call back until 10Am with the horrible news that our little guy didn't make it through post surgery. Obviously we were all devastated by this news I was trying my best to keep it together on my daughters birthday while I got a call from the vet stating that I needed to make a payment I had told them numerous times that I was at my daughters birthday and I would gladly return their call at a better time the man refused to let me get off the phone with him and was super arrogant and unsympathetic towards the family who had just lost this loving pup. I would not recommend taking your animal to these people. I certainly wouldn't take mine there.
Please avoid this clinic. I brought my dog that collapsed and unresponsive and not breathing in to the clinic a month ago. He was the closest clinic or I would have driven father to another clinic. Half way to the clinic he was breathing again to my relief. Brought him in told them it was an emergency he stopped breathing etc. they took their sweet time and after Dr. Bath checked him out he said he was fine. Maybe he tweaked something and to take him home. He said lungs were fine, heart had a faint murmur which I knew about and was assured no other care was needed. He got worse so I brought him to a Vancouver emergency clinic where they rushed him to an oxygen box. He was so lacking in oxygen my poor boy. Story short he had to be put on a ventilator and subsequently died. Now I have a huge vet bill and just his ashes left. BEWARE
