Loved all they do here. This is not fine dining or hipster really. This is something new and although beasty super fine.

Food, service and environment were all incredible. Cocktails were amazing and they even brought us mini beers while we waited for them. Portion sizes were great. A great experience.

The bison was really good, but the elk was amazing. Truly the place to try if you want great food and a nice atmosphere. The servers were very nice and always asking to see if we need anything else.

Best dining experience so far in Gastown. I lived across the street and never been there till we have guests over from Australia. Starts at dining area and ended up at the bar a few hours later.

Great cocktails. Great food. Good ambient.

Meh . Food was decent I recommend the elk. However the service we received will probably be the reason we won't be back. Also When paying by credit/debit machine . They only have a 18% 20% and 22% option for your gratitude . It makes you look great wildebeest

Really nice spot for dinner. Kitchen is open and you can see everything that is going on. Service is great and so is the range of food. Buy a six pack for the kitchen (it's on the menu), they deserve it.

After browsing through the small streets, beautiful shops of Gastown, decided to go have dinner at Wildebeest. Since beginning up to the end amazing customer service, beautiful decor, well organized and maintained place. Got amazing drinks and delicious food, no words can describe, you have to try it.

Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing food! We tried the chef's recommendation/flight for 4 $50 each. Simply awesome. Did I abuse from the word awesome?

Obsessed with this place - the bone marrow is absolutely delicious, you can add a shot and do a luge. I have had most items on the menu and for meat lovers this is definitely a great spot! Service is good, venue is huge. Try to get a table upstairs as it's more lively. Casual wear is fine, in fact wear something kinda baggy as you'll end up eating a lot!!

I have never had the opportunity of dining here for dinner, but their brunch menu is fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful with an exposed brick wall, an open kitchen, the whole restaurant is really a piece of art. They recently changed and expanded their brunch menu and I can't say their is a thing on it I don't enjoy.

Great brunch! Started with the mini donuts, which were actually 3 sizeable apple fritters. If you love a good fritter, order these!
The main course, I had the ham hock bennies. Again, another winner.
Great service, very friendly staff. Highly recommend Wildebeest :-)

We went for dine outfriendliness of servers was great, but the atmosphere was just okay. There was cold air blowing intermittently which made it not so enjoyable, the rolling chairs are a cute idea but not so comfy. Tables are quite close to one another
The food was just ok. The calamari was tasty but the pickled garnish they used destroyed the whole dish, making it way to salty, hence not so enjoyable. I asked for some bread, rather than tell me there is a charge they brought it happily and added it to my bill, over $2 for two small pieces of breadnot worth $80 plus for 2.

Waited an hour for our dine out reservation. Server sits us down with two jars of smoked olives and bread. We thought it was a nice gesture from the restaurant because nobody ordered it. We were charged for it at the end.
Terrible experience overall. The food was amazing and good portioned but the experience left us with a bitter taste.
