It's dark and looks a bit old but it's not as bad as it seems. The beer is pretty cheap and there are some good choices. Can't talk about the comfort food but there were interesting choices. Service was hit and miss depending on the waitress. The crowd can be a bit odd too. They have TVs and a lottery too.

the food is delicious!! The honey garlic chicken soo good!! Service as a bit slow for our preference,, but the food made up for it!! Looking forward to checking out music trivia night!

Excellent lunch spot! I Had the gourmet hot dogs (Peanut Butter and Bacon hot dog amazing) and my friend had a Landlubber burger - both were delicious ! Some of the best food in Nanaimo is found here (try the home made tater tots). Definitely be back!!!

This place has an older crowd, is not too loud, and has a kickass burger. The wing special is good value (wed-sat $6) and there a good drink specials. The best though, is the staff. Very pleasant and funny and not in your face constantly.
