Really enjoyed my time there. They have a lot of tvs to watch sports. Prices are good. Food was good (I took a 1 piece fish n chip with a greek salad). I see myself going there again! I recommend!

Amazing sport/gastro pub just around the corner. If you enjoy watching sports and drinking wide selection of draft beers, this is for you. I was lucky to be here on Tuesday - Taco Tuesday! Nice tacos with only 2,5$ each. This will be my regular pub in the future in Nanaimo!

Great ambience and spacious. Has upper deck for seating. Friendly staff and affordable. Food tasted great. Has parking spot in front. Great place to watch games and spend time with friends. Great selection of drinks.

Thank you Old City Station Pub. We had our 5th annual Beer and Burger Fundraiser last night at your pub and it was the best one yet. Your staff were incredible and the service was top shelf. You all worked so hard and there was not a complaint in the house. Keep doing what you do. We cannot wait till next year. Thank you from myself and all of us at Jesse's Gift Foundation.

The beer and venue are fantastic and great for any group size, the staff is very friendly and helpful.really cool place to have a drink and hang out with your friends.

Went to the pub last week for wings and thought they were the best wings ive had in years

I was there a few years ago and the service and food was much better than when i was there last

The owner Bruce even came over to my table i was sitting at with relatives and asked how everything was and if there was anything he could do for us. After we insisted that everything was great and we were very satisfied he still came out with some nachos for us to share.

the service was fast and friendly

I will definitely return to this pub the next time i visit Nanaimo

Awesome lunch!

I have to admit I was little surprised with how good my lunch was today.

I've been to the Old City many times on the weekend to party but never to eat.

My soup and sandwich deal for $8 was amazing!!

What a great Pub!!

I visited Old City for the first time this week and I must say I was blown away!

The wings that I purchased were some of the best that I've ever eaten in my life!

Not to mention the price, only $5! I don"t know how they can make money selling such a great product for so little.

The pub itself was immaculate, even the bathrooms were impressive.

The staff was friendly, fast, and really made me feel at home.

Thanks Old City, I'll be back soon.

UNCLEAN, DISGUSTING FOOD

If you like to eat clean food I would avoid this restaurant at all costs!!

The new owner does not follow food safe regulations, cross contaminates utensils used on raw meat with salads, licks fingers and then touches the burgers without washing his hands.

Don't be surprised if you get food poisoning from eating here.

Would rate 0 Stars if it was possible

Really makes me afraid to eat out at places. :(

P.S. - You obviously need to study up on your law because slander by definition is a false statement and everything mentioned above was TRUE. So nice try. I guess it really sucks when businesses have to be accountable for their actions huh????

Very clean, great environment and good food! I talked with the new owner for a while and he just wants the customer to feel comfortable and enjoy his refreshments and food! I thought it was awesome and will gladly refer and go back! Great for watching the games too!

Great service. Good beer and food specials. The food, well, wings are good. I've had the hot and the spicy chili.
ETA, the menus changed, since my review. It had been no items over $10. Perhaps that was initially for a short time to promote reopening, perhaps it wasn't working out for them.
Food prices are still reasonable. The chicken burger could use some Chipotle mayoor something. It was average, but not bad. The fries are good and can be ordered without salt.

Good service and a fairly extensive beer selection. I wouldn't't recommend coming here for food but it's a great place to watch some sports and/or drink some good beers.

Since the new owners have taken over, Old City Station Pub has gone down hill. The new owner is misogynistic and talks down to his employees in front of customers. He complains about expenditures on the floor and the welcoming environment has been replaced with animosity amongst staff and supervision. Long gone are the days where you could enjoy a meal with friends. With that being said, as a long term patron of Old City Station Pub, I believe there are more welcoming Restaurants/Pubs in Nanaimo who are locally owned that are more deserving of my money. Out of respect for women everywhere, don't spend your money here.
