We stopped in here a few times while in Vancouver. I like the coffee and my wife liked the tea.

Coffee is a bit overpriced for what it is. The environnement is a bit cold and sterile. We ordered some muffins, which were everything but fresh.
If you want something similar to Starbucks, it's okay. However, if you're looking to discover good coffees, there are plenty other places around.response / report this review -

good service. The place gets busy so the tables and area are not usually cleaned often it seems. love how the washrooms have a keycode -hygienic! :)

Located on Columbia Str inside the old TD bank building on the ground floor. Waves has a good selection of coffee,tea pasteries and sandwiches. NOTE no free parking

Overpriced. Corporate. Sterile.
$2.50 for a cookie?
Over $3 for a cinnamon bun?
$4 coffee?
These are small basic food items that people are paying so they can sit and type in their iMacs I suppose. The prices should be 25% - 50% cheaper. I should know, I used to make these items when I was a kid at my Dad's bakery. If kids can make these things..response / report this review -

One of the few buildings in the Lower Mainland that has old world character that you can just stroll into. The high, molded ceilings give it a great atmosphere. Service is average for a chain coffee shop.

Cafe and Corporate office in an old heritage building. The interior is beautiful. My favourite local place to have a hot drink + treat and use my laptop with WiFi. Also a meeting room for the public that can be booked.

Mannerless staff! We went there in the evening for a cup of coffee. This was our first time at Waves and definitely last. The woman(boy-cut hair) at counter was really rude and annoying. There was an elderly taking time to order and this women was making faces. Then when there was a confusion in the order (from our side) because there products labels were overlapping, my husband offered to pay the difference and this cashier rudely said - what do you mean??? when we explained it to her, she was like - whatever!!! I was shocked. She went ahead to meet a guy who came to meet her and started chatting. Seems like she was having a hard day or doesn't like her work but that doesn't give her the right to mis-treat customer. This isn't what we came to pay for. Waves please teach your staff little politeness. Anyway, there are plenty of great places in the town. I will never visit Waves.

I like Waves it's​ generally consistent and delivers a strong coffee or espresso drink this location is not totally true to their "brand" when pouring lattes they don't always pour a blended microfoam leave.
