I took my dog to the Veterinary Emergency Hospital over the weekend, and my experience was very positive (despite the fact that my dog was sick). We didn't have to wait long and the price was very reasonable. I also liked how everyone treated my dog as if he was their own pet.
Highly recommended.
I brought my dog in who had gastro hemorrhage and they took amazing care of her. They let me visit whenever I wanted and they never tired of my endless calls asking for updates. I would absolutely go there again.
I brought my cat in and was treated promptly. He had to be put down. They did a humane job.
Highly recommend this place!! Had to bring my Frenchie in for emergency treatment, it's Thanksgiving giving weekend and they were pretty much the only place that was open. First experience at this Vet hospital and thankfully it was more than a great experience. The lady at the front desk was really welcoming, genuine and kind. We seen Dr. Kornya and he was amazing! He made my little guy feel really comfortable as soon as he walked in, he genuinely loves his job. He explained everything about our issue in great detail, and also answered all my questions thoroughly with patients. Only downside to this place is they are there for emergencies situations, would've love to have them as my regular Vet!
Brought my 10 month old puppy here a few hours ago. Very professional and helpful, he scraped his 2 from paw pads pretty bad while running around playing fetch and they did not try to take my money at all. They told me it was just scraped up and they did not want to charge me $125.00 just to clean it. They told me how to clean it up myself at home and just to keep an eye on it.. if it gets worse to either take him to my vet or bring him back if it worsens. Very helpful and nice staff, I recommend bringing your loving pet here if need be.
I took my dog there when she broken her nail. The staff were helpful and quick to respond. I would definitely go back.
Just one question
Calling yourself the Emergency Hospital of West Toronto how come
they are OPEN'but CAN'T HELP YOU.before 6:00 pm?
We were told to go there if our dog had an emergency after taking her
to 'Rexdale' clinic as she was 'foaming at the mouth' in the morning
Rexdale examined her and said 'vital signs were normal.this was at
10;30 Wednesday morningreceptionist at Rexdale told us to go there
if anything developed.at around 3:30 our poor dog went into a major
'Seizure'.I raced her over to Norseman2 girls working there came out
looked at my convulsing dog, and said to go to KIngsway Vet.there
was nothing they could doNO DOCTOR on siteBut they were OPEN?!
By the time I got her there, it was TOO LATEthe damage was done.
we had to put her down..The time we lost going to Norseman; sealed
her fate. The seem to do a lot of advertising with the other Vets
(nice 'glossy' cards) but are USELESS until 6:00 at night.but they are
'open' earlierjust not able to help in an Emergency??!..please make that
clear on your 'Glossy ADS' as I was in a 'panic' and told to go to you..
I only read the side that told your addresshow about
NIGHT TIME VETERINARY CLINIC.more accurate no??
They saved my dog. Planely put- I am so grateful to you. Bauer is a miracle because of your fast and efficient service. The kind and compassionate care is unique and I am so thankful to you.
My beautiful dog spent her last minutes here. They were amazing, to her and to us. Thank you so very much for your humanity and your professionalism.
Unfortunately, we had to bring our little tabby cat Tommy in to be put to sleep. The entire staff couldn't have been kinder, more compassionate, and helpful in explaining the process. We were able to take our time to say goodbye to our little guy. At no time were we rushed. It's a horrible time in any pet owners life to have to make this decision, but the staff at Veterinary Emergency Hospital were wonderful. Thank you all. Richard and Lynn Hadley.
Kitty has a small accident and was limping to the left back leg. I took her to this vet for an emergency check up. It's Saturday night at 9:45 pm and we left around 11:30. Cat got good service with what I believe to be proper diagnostic testing with pain meds and a diagnosis. She is now not in as much pain and is sitting right beside her food and water eating a good meal. Thank you :)
We had (all things considered,) what ended up being a simple "emergency," but something we didn't want to wait until morning with. Fortunately, we arrived when nobody else was in the clinic, so we were seen immediately. Both the tech and the doctor were very efficient, professional, and kind (we saw Dr. Cullander.) Upon receipt of the bill for their services, we were surprised to see that they are very fairly priced for an after-hours clinic - with costs very comparable to our regular vet-services. Everyone will have their own experiences, but based on ours, I would recommend this place without hesitation.
Great Team, they Even sent Pictures to show how my dog was doing which was amazing when he had to spend the night!!! Was very helpful with all the questions I had about my Dog after I had picked him up!!! Do not think twice if you need to take your pet here.
After my puppy Panda had fell very ill over the weekend, I contemplated waiting until Monday morning to take her to a vet, since money is tight and reviews aren't the greatest for any emergency vet in Toronto. Sunday night Panda was too sick, so I rushed to take her to the 24 hour vet. Point blank, the lady told me that Panda was either dying of cancer or kidney failure and that I should just put her down. She said I could run a blood test but "that would just tell me whats killing her faster". She insisted that it was just best to put her down. Not ready to accept this answer, I took Panda home and hoped she would make it through the night so I could take her to a vet in the morning. Thankfully she was a trooper and made it through the night and I was able to bring her to the vet first thing in the morning. Turns out she was Anemic. She was very sick but it was completely treatable. Today I brought her home and thank god I chose to seek a second opinion. I paid 140.00$ for the doctor (I wish a remembered her name) to tell me my dog was going to die, when in fact she's lying on the couch right next to me, happy as can be and hopefully sees many years to come. If you can, avoid this place or seek help else where, I urge you to. Or it helps to seek a second opinion!! Pictured below is my ALIVE and well Panda!
This is an excellent emergency clinic. Staff was very helpful and kind. I saw Dr. Rosemary Cullander for my cat a few nights ago and she was an absolutely outstanding vet - very kind, patient, and extremely intelligent. Thank you so much!
