The chocolate chip cookies are to die for !!!
St Honore cake there specialty cake is awesome
We Always buy this cake for any occasion

It was my mother 40th birthday and I requested a cake for 30 people. Sure enough the day arrived and it was nothing what I had asked them to do. They refused to take responsibility for their action and didn't even bother to assist. Horrible place to order a special cake for birthdays or any event. I don't even know why they have albums to show that they can do it when they can't. Avoid this place at all cost.

Used to produce delicious beautifully decorated specialty cream puff cake. Pricey but worth it. Apparently there is new owners and pastry chef. ..quality is sub-par. Will not be back!

I've been coming here, maybe 5 or 6 times a year for about 15 years.
I will sometimes stop at Venito's when I'm driving through Newton, or doing shopping in the area.
Although I have noticed the quality of the desserts and pastries a little lacking over the past few years, I have always tried to support the smaller shops. Not anymore Venito's
Today, I called in an order for two Napoleons to pick up in the afternoon. Picked up the taped, boxed order and got home. First thing I noticed after opening up the package were the two slices were different sizes. One was half the size of the other. Secondly, the, half-size Napoleon (no pun intended) a finger poke through the top of the icing. Disgusting.
Sad to see what Venito's has become with my latest experiences. This will be my last time I give them my business.response / report this review -

Over priced. The prices on the manue arw only for a plain cake and it goes up as u xhoose a decoration on the cake l. The cake was vary hard to the touch and too much suger. Box cake mix tastes better from the doller store then this place. At leasr at rhis location

Tried to order the exact cake out of their photo book today, Monday October 3rd, 2016. It was for my Mom's 80th Birthday. It was a 2 tiered cake with red ribbons around the bottom of each layer with red flowers on top.
They told me I had to go out and buy the red ribbon and the flowers to put on top on my own. Said I never heard of such a thing: that when you buy a cake they provide everything on and in it. That's the way its always done when purchasing a cake. She brought me out some black ribbon as an alternative. Said that wouldn't suit the occasion. The lady said all I had to do was go to Michael's close by to buy the stuff. I said no and walked out.
Plain and simple, that's poor service and crazy to have to buy stuff for the cake all on my own. I will never go back and will never refer anyone to go there.

Ordered a St. HONORE cake for a special birthday for last weekend. The cake was beautiful and was delicious. I had many compliments. Friendly courteous staff. All in all, I will be back. Thank you.

Absolute garbage ! Walked in, nobody was at the counter to serve. Waited, waited & I finally asked a woman also waiting if there is anyone working. She said yes they are all in the back. As we waited for someone to help us all, we looked at the sparse selection of cakes with the worse decorating I've seen at a bakery. No labels and prices were rediculois for something that looked like a 2 year old decorated it. NOT a true Italian run or owned bakery.
We would rather drive all the way to Commercial Drive to an authentic Italian bakery
