i wish i could give a zero. Printing center is a joke. I call all day and no one can answer the phone, yet when you walk in there is a bunch of staff standing around talking to each other. They don't know any information about orders that were submitted online. staff need more training. Absolutely useless!
Poor customer service. Bad merchandise not accepted even with receipt and.original package. Useless SCOSCHE HookUP auxiliary cable. Kills sound quality.
I would give 0 if it was possible, horrible staff, snobby, wanted to purchase a laptop for my son was left standing while they had a social gathering amongst themselves. I had to help an older lady with questions about products because said employees were just standing there. I cant believe this place. Order online or better yet go to best buy, or mikes at least there you will get service that is better than this joke of a store.
Copy center staff- you guys were awesome thank you.
Rest of the store - You should be fired
Staples is an absolute joke. I hope that they have better customer service at different locations because this one in Abbotsford is horrendous. I recently bought a new laptop and had the unfortunate problem of a manufacturer defect ( one of the keys broke off ). The problem was this happened a little over 2 weeks after purchasing and was told that store policy is straight up 14 days. This was 3 days beyond that theshhold and this happened completely on its own , it was dropped or hit with anything , the laptop was barely used at this point. I was told by the store manager that I would have to buy a new machine because they couldn't sell this one ( if exchanged / returned ) to anyone else even ugh he was willing to give it back to me. My other option was sending it back to the manufacturer and have it fixed. After a lengthy heated discussion and him making a phone call , most likely to his boss , he was able to exchange it for me. Why did this have to take so long ? Why didn't staples just exchange it right away ? Why did I have to escalate the discussion so far to just to have them exchange it anyway ? After all that the second unit was was defective as well broken speaker. At this point I was just laughing so I brought that one back I was treated as if it was my fault again and that I was a just an inconvenience to them , not one apology was given. Not only was I going to upgrade to a much higher end unit I wasn't even offered anything else. I will never go back to this store again. I hope that this is read by management and is talked about at their meetings on how to not treat a customer, and used as a tool to learn and train their management better.
When you're able to get a hold of someone here, it usually goes well. The staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable. The problem is finding someone, either in person or on the phone.
Most of the time I treat this just as a place to buy things, but I have to know what I'm doing before I come
Had a blast, will definitely have to come back again with some friends.
After seeing their ad (in store) for photo scanning, which also cited prices for large numbers of photos, we brought in around 1600 photos for scanning. A trainee took our order, had to get help (OK), then the "helper" informed me that there would be a time fee per 15 minutes. There was no mention of a time fee on the ad. After I protested, she called her supervisor and then said no time fee is charged. Now we have been called to pick up the order, and the price is double what was estimated at first. No reason given. No call or email in between to double-check. That is very unprofessional. Will not go back.
Pull up to the store at 5:05pm Jan 14, 2017 to pick up a print job. The Open sign is not turned on and the outside lights and some of the inside lights are turned off. However I can see customers shopping inside and a customer going in. So I decide to go in. I check and see store hours posted on the door and they don't close for another hour--at 6pm. Go up the the desk and two young kids are just standing there twiddling around on their phones. The girl checks for my order but can't find it. Asks when I submitted it, I say around 3pm that day (mind you I use Staples printing service all the time and it's always been ready same day, within an hour). She then tells me that it won't be ready until tomorrow as per their weekend policy which is not stated anywhere on the confirmation email nevermind the fact that none of their printers are currently running any print jobs. I see this and tell her I really need my order for that night. She tells me there's five other orders in front of mine but they're all scheduled for tomorrow. So instead of being proactive/productive and working on these orders while they obviously have the time (remember the phone twiddling), they also refused to help this customer out with a 35 pg print job. They're obviously trying to do any 'unnecessary' work and deter customers from coming in at least an hour before closing. I will now be taking my business (both personal and business related) elsewhere.
I had a great experience with staples in abbotsford. I was wanting to buy a MacBook Air and there wasnt any stock of the particular model and the manager managed to get me the computer the day after. She called many different locations in search for it and displayed such great customer service!
Not too good better go somewhere else if you need help, but just to run in and pick something off the shelf if you know where to find. Then it's OK just don't expect help..you'll get a nice list of what can't happen for you there.
