Seriously appreciate how on-top of the employees are with making sure everyone wears their masks properly while shopping here. I witnessed a worker today explaining to someone that they needed to wear a mask and if they were unable to, that curbside pickup was an option available. It made me feel incredibly safe while shopping there today! I also feel as if none of the staff is rude at all and they're quite nice. I can see they're under a lot of pressure as it's very busy here. This will always be a location I will come back to time & time again.

A great variety of plants for your home; I got everything I need for my garden. Prices are reasonable and there are (limited) guarantees on their plants. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Safe Covid protocols are in effect. If all patrons followed them properly, it would be the best possible shopping experience in this circumstance.

Visited Vandermeer for the first time. Their selection of indoor tropical plants are great, including some hard to find plants. They have a beautiful collection of pots and decor as well.

Unfortunately, I likely won't be returning. The staff was unfriendly and some were even rude. They told me I had to move because "I was in the way and they were trying to work". I then asked them if the product I was looking at could be found anywhere else and they pointed to a section but stated that the sizes I was looking at wasn't in any other spot. Yet they still insisted that I move. The cashier was generally unfriendly, and in general, no one really ever made any kind of contact or checked in to see if I required help. Seems like it wasn't just one individual but a bad environment. Is any plant really worth that level of service?Overall, would not recommend.

Vandermeer Nursery & Garden Centre is a fairly comprehensive garden center with so much to choose from. Their have a wide selection of various different plants and well structured and well categorized on the sales floor and outdoor area. Everything is well organized, staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One point to improve is they can widen their plant pots selection which is at a minimum level currently. There's ample parking available and close to the highway 401 too. Covid safety protocols are in place.

I love this place! One of the best greenhouses in Durham Region. They have a large selection of plants and they're always fully stocked up. They also have a great selection of pots.
The only thing that makes trips here not so great is the staff, they're always so rude and have bad attitudes. They give you attitude if you simply ask a question. They act like you're in their way or bothering them. Makes the shopping experience here very miserable.

By far the best nursery I have visited. It is now my first choice for most indoor and outdoor plants, or for supplies for my pond. When I go there I'm as excited as a 10-year-old who's been told he's going to Toys'r'us.

This garden center is the biggest and best I have ever been too. If you cannot find a plant they will have it. I have been going here for years. I now live 2 hours away and still come here. Love it.

Well organized and maintained. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Not as expensive as some of the other big nurseries we've been to while still having a great selection. We will definitely be coming here from now on.

Have been a customer for 20 over years. Great selection of plants. Never fail to set me in the mood for planting. Feel inspired each time I visit the nursery. Friendly staff too.
