A cozy cabin for a family weekend!
4 Adults and 1 infant shared a cabin with 1 Queen and 2 double beds (in the loft). We brought our own infant bed (bassinet), so I'm not sure if they would have provided a travel crib (although I asked for one when booking, I didn't receive confirmation). It was exactly what we were looking for, as we wanted to cook together and sit by the fireplace and watch the wind howl outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The cabin warmed up well, and stayed a comfortable temperature. The timber frame construction was lovely. The living room layout was a little awkward, with empty corners surrounding the fireplace, but only enough space for a 2-seater sofa (a bit inconvenient for a cabin meant for 4). The kitchen area was small but functional. The bedroom was too small to fit the bassinet and be able to walk around the bed (we then crawled over the bed).
The loft was a comfortable size.
We would definitely stay here again!

A very comfortable stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort. The rooms are spacious, enough space to unpack and hang your clothes. Fireplace, furnace, heated tiled floors in foyer and bathroom. Shower with steam, jet tub, toiletries provided. Small fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket, wine opener, wine glasses. Rooms cleaned daily. Very pleasant. Will definitely stay again.

Our stay at Tunnel Mountain was quite enjoyable! Layout of the room was awesome! The room was quite dated, but appropriate for the cost. Pool was smaller than the online pics, but still fun!

Very nice room. Comfortable large bed, great room presentation. Nice heated tiles, awesome steam shower and comfortable air conditioning with gas fireplace. Air conditioner was a bit noisy during the night. Friendly staff.

Comfortable, and a few steps above camping! Our room was on street level but it was incredibly quiet at night. Bathrooms are updated and each room came with a double sink, microwave, and a fridge. Front desk was super friendly and helpful in planning our trip. Very close to downtown Banff, about 45 minutes from Lake Louise.

Comfortable, warm rooms. Fireplace with free wood. Nice having a full kitchen even though we didn't really use ours. Coin laundry available. Free parking, some underground. Convenience store just across the road.

It is only a 5 min drive to downtown. Free bus passes are available, but they the bus isn't that frequent. Many walking trails on Tunnel Mountain. You are very likely to see elk just on the side of the road while staying here.

The rooms were so clean, and the facilities added to how convenient everything was. At first, I was a little but put off by how far away the hotel is from downtown, but after staying here I welcomed how quiet and calm the area around the hotel is. There is also a roped off walking path to downtown that takes about 25 minutes (tops). The staff were helpful in picking out activities to do. I would absolutely stay here again (even if only for the fireplace in the apartment)

Stayed at Tunnel Mountain Resort for Easter with my family. The scenery was beautiful and room were rustic and cozy. The suite we stayed in had a kitchen which was great for Easter dinner. If youre looking for something a little more down to earth in Banff or Louise Tunnel Mountain Lodge is a great place to stay!

We saw several tiny little ants in our unit 139, crawling on the bedroom dresser and on the living room and bathroom floors. This was in mid-March! We kept our bags on the night stands to avoid taking ants home with us. The staff felt bad about it but of course they had no idea the problem existed. The unit itself was decent, although a bit dated. The kitchenette was adequately equipped. The furnace seemed to run constantly and the bedroom became quite hot overnight. The bed was not very comfortable and bedroom lighting was inadequate. The pool and hot tub were okay although inconveniently located in two separate buildings. Nice sauna in the hot tub room. There were nice mountain views.

Amazing value. Simple but elegant clean rooms, extremely accommodating staff. GREAT place to stay with pets. They put out a bed, bowls, toys & poop bags so you need nothing. Even cat litter box! Stayed in the executive suite with steam shower, heated flooring, jetted tub & King bed for $99! Obviously this was during off-peak season but still one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and certainly one of the cheapest

Got a great deal on the executive king suite. Was awesome. Had a steam shower and tub with jets. Lots of room. Fancy fire place and great bed. Scored loud and Neibours never heard.

The original room we were booked in was quite outdated and needed a serious face lift. Paint in the bathroom was peeling from humidity and the roof tiles had multiple water stain marks. Along with that the couch was stained and the room did not seem very well cleaned. We notified the staff we were not to happy and they quickly and kindly upgraded us at no charge. The kitchen was well equipped, we used it for almost every meal. It was nice to park right outside where we stayed. Also the bus stop is right outside the resort so it was very convenient as we took the bus to get to most places like downtown and the hotsprings. Overall the staff were very polite and we loved the location but their cleaning standards need to be higher.
