The islands alone are worth the trip, but this little park will surely bring a smile to anyone face. Photographers can walk through on September weekdays for an empty park and adorable tiny rides ready for snapping.
Agreed that this is best suited for young kids. Really nostalgic kind of place and it is much easier to navigate than some of the other city amusement parks. We didn't stand in line at any one ride for more than 15 mins. Food is standard park fare, but tasty and affordable.
We took our 4 year old here and we had a great time. The park was super clean and the rides were in great shape. Everything looks new and no awful squeaking noises. Plenty of rides to choose from to easily fill your day. All rides were clean and very well maintained. Food selection was great. Classic burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers and fries, etc. Also has a Subway. Staff was great and very friendly. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a fun day with the kiddies. Plus a nice bonus for the kids is a ferry ride to get to the island!
Park is best suited for kids 7 and under.
First time we came here it was a cluster "truck" we emailed them back to report our concerns and they made things right by sending us free tickets to try again. Our 2nd trip went much better! Although most of the staff work outside in the sun it would be nice if they were reminded to wear deodorant during their shift. Had some pretty gross interactions with ride operators. Other than that it was a fun place lots of rides for our toddler (2) place was pretty well kept. We'd will go back :)
Do not waste time or money here. It is a moldy, greasy place. We spent $125 for 4 and ended up with permanently grease stained shorts from the 2-3 rides we went on. Black grease that does not come out.
The rides are old and barely functional. It is dirty and not safe.
Very poor representation of Canada.
Fun starts with ferry ride. Try not to go when it's super hot, lots of walking and heat will make the little ones grumpy. When you done with rides there's a fair selection of food choices and a cute splash pad for kids to cool down in.
I love this place! Great mini theme park to bring family this is great starting point to open kids up to rides as most of the rides are simple joy rides nothing extreme. Beautiful location to picnic, go on dates, outings, relax by the lake or in the grass.
Always a good time with the kids. They have a lot of kids activities and it's very fun for the entire family to have a picnic or just walk around this enormous place
The iconic theme park of Toronto island is part of any Torontonian's childhood. Cute little rides with nothing over the top but the kids seemed to have a great time. I do have to say that it was rather pricey spending well over 75$ for 2 kids to go on a few rides. That said the cost is secondary when you see how much fun they have.
A superb place to bring the children. Great carnival rides, some vintage and some newer. New Sky Ride should be open by next year, replacing the old dangerous one. Food is mostly pizza and burgers fare but priced very reasonably. You can bring your own food in if you want as well. The Play all day pass is the best value; when compared with other Toronto attractions it is reasonably priced. No complaints about the theme park
The antiquated ferry boats to get to the island could use some help. They do have a certain charm, however they are always packed to the gills and have huge lineups. Plan on waiting a while on both ends for the ferry.
I had lots of fun with my son and 20 month old son. It is a classic theme park and you can finish all rides in a day. As a bonus, toddlers under 2 rides for free! The merry go round was classic, so was the miniature train ride and some of the car rides. It brings back my childhood memories when I was riding with my son! Just like the old days when I went to the theme park with my dad. Food is not bad, is a theme park so there will be a premium but is not outrageous. Definitely recommend!!!!
