I recently bought my wedding Ring from surrey gold. Aman and Karla helped me in every way to get what exactly i was looking for. I am really happy with service I got as soon I step in the store until stepping out and made my visit worthful. Price really matters in case of jewellery, so I did my homework and found out that they have cheapest jewellery with highest quality. Really nice collection and variety to choose from. I sold some gold bullion here a while back. Unfortunately, the in store experience was less than pleasant. I was sandwiched in between two men who were clearly drug addicts under the influence, leaving me rather uncomfortable. The only reason I stayed to complete my transaction was because there was a group of police officers in the parking lot outside. I have since discovered Border Gold and the Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange, which provide a much more secure and professional atmosphere. They also have offer higher prices for your bullion than this place.

If you call their office they claim to pay 80% of the market price for gold in their normal scrap gold prices. If you do your own math, the number is closer to 75%. I will do further research and go elsewhere. Beware!

In the 3-4 times I have visited Surrey Gold the same young lady met with me and each time she was very polite, professional and answered my many questions relating to their industry and processes. As well explained and double checked the data she was entering on her computer. The whole experience was very pleasant and I have recommended Surrey Gold to a dear friend who had me do some business on her behalf , and she was really impressed with her payout. Nothing is hidden, everything pertaining to your visit is done openly and in my presence.

Company states that they pay from 72 % to 98 % of the spot price of gold however, we were paid about 70%.After speaking to management he agreed to pay an additional amount in good faith.The staff were very friendly and courteous..Additional explanation of rates would have been helpful.

I went in with an assortment of jewelry, and was met by a courteous staff member who explained me their procedure and ran me through their price list. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I was satisfied with my payout.
