I was given incorrect legal advice/paperwork and told to file the paperwork myself. Forms apparently should have been sent in on line by the law office. Which is what I asked for. A week later, I received a rejection letter from the government agency on my request. They said I had submitted a form that was not only wrong, but missing an entire section.
A complete waste of my time and money.
I had to retain another lawyer and start all over. They were able to resolve the matter that day.
The MacLean lawyer, who finally returned my calls, informed me she would have finished the work with a $5,000.00 retainer and $350.00 per hour from me! This is to file a form on line!
A simple matter for a lawyer who knows what they are doing!response / report this review -

Aman Kahlon is an absolutely amazing lawyer. She is very understanding and supportive and always there whenever you need her, be it a simple question or a major development. She has helped me tremendously throughout my separation and was there with me every step of the way. I am glad to have had an amazing lawyer on my side. She was highly recommended through a friend who she helped in their separation and I am glad I was able to have her on my side of the fight. She will tell you straight how it is, unlike many others who will "sugarcoat" things just to get money out of you. Her passion for helping individuals is astounding. Yes it is expensive but in my opinion it is all worth it in the end.

First when i all started i went through couple of lawyers at different firms who i just thought wasn't listening to me and kept telling me how much they cost. i decided to call Maclean law in Surrey and they directed me to Aman Kahlon. She was very straight forward and kind. She and her team walked me through everything and kept me informed. Her assistant Nikolina Maric always nice on the phone and got me the answer im looking for right away. Jian kang, Jian kang, Jian kang he is my lawyers associate and i gotta tell you he will listen to you and give you a straight up answer back! he is quite but deadly and i would recommend him to all my Asian friends. He always comes with with work at top speed and its done right. Yes they do cost more money then others but you get what you paid for and when it comes to something so important like my daughter i wouldn't chance it with another law firms. Whats money when its not for family. Aman K is amazing lawyer not only because of her skill but because she is just like us normal people and not a vampire ( if you know what i mean). Go see them and you wont regret it.

Aman Kahlon is an exceptional Lawyer. You feel a new level of Trust and Security when she is dealing with your legal matters. I chose MacLean Law to represent me after hearing about their stellar team of lawyers. Aman Kahlon is no exception. She took the time to hear my concerns and we worked together to achieve the desired outcome. Along the way, she reminded me of things that may be too far of a reach and her legal advice helped me save a lot of time. It was reassuring she wasn't after the money but wanted to achieve a positive outcome as soon as possible. I am extremely pleased with Aman's work ethic and am very happy with the end result. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
