  My fiance and I came here to have an heirloom band sized to fit him for our upcoming wedding. They immediately without asking any questions try to upsell/upgrade him to a putting two other gold rings between his ring to 'hold' it in place and preserve it. Sure, that is an option. But that is not what he asked for and they were super pushy about it. Their price was more expensive than just getting a plain gold band and we have been trying our very best to save money however we can so I have to say I was upset with this.
  
  I also was unhappy with the customer service regarding my wedding band. I was looking for a band to accompany my antique ring and Yasmin repeatedly ignored that I wanted the band to match the vintage style, and that I didn't want the "bump" so the ring fit my 0.75c stone (I wanted a band that stood alone on it's own as simple but nice.) She also talked about the claws on my ring (needing to be replaced, I recently had my ring looked at by an amazing Swiss jeweler who said I had 2 years because of the platinum setting), questioned if my diamonds were real repeatedly (they are) ect and tried to sell me not only a wedding band but an anniversary band to match after I also repeatedly said I am a very active person so I don't want too much bulk on my hands. It was a very pushy and unpleasant experience. Terry seemed nice, and I'm sure he's talented but I guess we will never know. I also did appreciate the other sales person who seemed to have better listening skills. But I don't feel like I will be back because I don't like high pressure or guilt related sales tactics. Weddings are expensive enough as it is. Just listen and do as people are asking. Not everyone buys into the idea that weddings should cost a couple a small fortune.
  
  2 Stars instead of 1 because they did polish my ring, but I felt like it was just in an effort to sell me. I really hated that Yasmin kept reiterating we couldn't wait because the date of our wedding and had to buy. Just didn't feel right to me. If we like your products we will buy them - stop pushing please.

  My fiancee and I got our bands resized at the last minute at Terry's. The staff were wonderful - they accommodated our last minute request and, even though they deal in upper end jewels etc and our bands were simple gold bands, they were respectful and friendly. Great workmanship, we highly recommend them.

  First I'll tell you about the restoration of my ring. It's beautiful. Good workmanship. I'm unsure if it was actually Mr. Mooney that worked on my ring though. The work was done within one week.
  Customer service I'd give a 2. If that. His wife is in charge of estimates and is the face to their store. I went in with a ring needing a stone replaced. I had no idea if it was a diamond or not and I didn't say that it was. She took her jeweler's tool, took a good look and declared it to be an xyz carat diamond. "That'll be $$ to replace." Great. I go on my way. I get a call the next day from her "you told us these were diamonds so we treated them as such, they're cubic zirconia's and have crushed under the heat and pressure. Call me" Umm what?! You're the expert! Why are you blaming your customer after YOU gave the estimate of a diamond. Very unprofessional. She then tries to get me to swap them all out for diamonds. Nope. Also not ok.
  I also sold them old gold to pay. Shocker- not great pricing. Go to an official "buyer" of gold to today's best price for your gold.
  I have no idea if I paid too much. Lessons learned- get a few quotes. Workmanship here is good but customer service is NOT. Should have gone with my spidey senses on this one when she quoted me $20 to change a watch battery. Wha?!!!
  I won't recommend this place. Too many other talented jewelers in this city that do treat their customers professionally.

  Came here to have my anklet repaired. The man I dropped it off to quoted me 10-15 dollars, which is reasonable. When I went to pick it up the lady says it's 20 dollars clearly when the man gave me a different price who was standing behind me didn't even apologize or say anything. She told me not to listen to him, which I thought was rude. They did a good job but customer service needs improvement. Workers need to all know prices and stay true to what they quoted. If I knew the price was going to be 20 I would be went somewhere else who were sure of the price they quoted me. Will not recommended this place. Don't like the way they run the business at all.

  I would definitely recommend Terry Mooney's jewelry to my friends and family . A few months ago I visited the store to have three rings repaired. Yasmin took the time to redesign my engagement ring which had lost one of my diamonds . She totally redesign it and I was pleasantly surprised by the work they did and the cost.

  What a great experience getting a beautifully handcrafted engagement ring for my sweet fiancee at Terry Mooney's. Yasmin and Terry were extremely helpful in creating a custom design that my now fiancee absolutely loves. The craftsmanship of the ring is superior to anything I could find in traditional jewelery stores. We look forward to talking to Yasmin and Terry about wedding bands.

  After 30 years of marriage I decided that the rings I picked at 19 were not what I wanted to be wearing at, let's just say, this new young age I find myself at. I can't even count how many jewelers my husband and I went to trying to decide on a design with no success. I was frustrated and wanted someone I could trust with what was to me, a very important and sentimental purchase. I will also admit, a little sheepishly, that I am not the easiest person to please as I am somewhat of a perfectionist. We decided to place our trust in Terry Mooney Jewelers and I must say I couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. The design created is absolutely gorgeous and the workmanship superb. They listened to what I had to say and took the time to get to know me and to get things right. Thanks again to you both and I'm looking forward to my next 30 years with my beautiful new ring! - oh, and my husband!

  My parents had their engagement and wedding rings made by Terry over 30 years ago. My mom has since gone to see him over the past 10 years to have other rings made. Terry's work is incredible. Based on the professional relationship they had with my parents as well as the gorgeous rings he has made for my family I decided to have my fiancees engagement ring made by Terry and Yasmin.
  
  The experience was wonderful to say the least. They are very honest people, I brought a picture of the ring I wanted them to make for me and it looked even better when it was finished. They delivered the ring to me on time, and for the exact price we agreed upon - both timing and price were very reasonable. It was a pleasure doing business with them, my fiancee said yes and has already received tons of comments on how gorgeous her ring is and I couldn't be happier.
  
  I would strongly recommend anyone looking for an engagement ring, wedding bands, or other ring to go see Terry and Yasmin, you will not be disappointed.
