Large park, good to explore with many features. Good quantity of benches, no picnick tables though. Beautiful Gary oak trees everywhere with mostly indigenous plants.
Such a beautiful little park that no one seems to know about. It is probably mostly locals that use it. There is a swing set for the kids and lots of place to get a nice view of the city.
Beautiful meadows here. Great place to go on a sunny day
A nice nature park dominated by protected Garry Oak and flowers. Good views north, west and east.
Beautiful place for a sunset picnic.
My favourite park in Victoria is Summit park. I often take a book up to the rocks, and I'll sit and read. It's peaceful and fairly quiet, though central to the city and accessible from all sides (one would think it would be busier?). Reminds me of the land of the Rohirrim from Lord Of The Rings.
Beautiful Garry oaks and wild flowers, very picturesque.
Great walk uphill and great view. Nice to walk around the park
This scenic park is on high ground overlooking areas of Victoria. It has a network of paths that cut through the preserved landscape consisting of elevation changes, natural grasses and indigenous trees such as the Gary Oak only found on Vancouver island.
I really enjoyed my walk around this park, not a lot of people and it's peaceful.
Great community park. There are easy walking trails which provide scenic views to the northwest. In the spring, the Gary Oak meadows bloom with Camas flowers, it's a beautiful sight! It's usually quiet here, so it's a great place for relaxation and contemplation.
