Limited choices on vancouver island. I ended up going to a school off island to complete my course, they are pouring money into the infrastructure and not engaging there students. I found a small school in Ontario with teachers who where not scared to teach me. Camosun is a huge rip off. the Provence needs to get involved. I could never go back to a west coast school. I dont want to starve to death wile my teacher isn't showing up for class.

This is the worst college for an education. A two year program could take up to four years to complete due to not offering a full course load. Only one course offered per semester at times. Don't waste your time and money go to University where at least they can get professors for what they are offering. Administration doesn't even seem to care about their students. For the money expect better.

I am appalled. In September I was told by student society that my health/dental coverage would be in effect as of Nov 1 so I could bring my receipts for my medications for reimbursement. Today Nov 9, I called to ask what the process is to get the reimbursement. He looked me up by student number and said that I "opted out" in 2014 and never "opted back in" I was not aware I was to opt back in as it has been 2 years since I was enrolled at Camosun with a completely different program and different campus.I was not aware I was opted out automatically. I was then very upset while on the phone with him, but he asked his supervisor about adding me on. She said yes, so I walked down to Lansdowne campus. They gave me a form to fill out that another piece of paper to go pay more money at registration. as I was about to head over there to pay, she then asked me what program i was in, Medical Lab, then proceeded to tell me that my program doesn't have the medical coverage. Why did nobody tell me this in September when I asked originally? Why was this not clearly stated on the fees? Why did I go through such a process to ultimately get told that I'm actually not eligible? This is extremely disappointing as I have been anticipating this reimbursement since September when my program started. If I knew that when I called the first time in September, this wouldn't have happened and I would have hopefully found coverage elsewhere. This actually disgusts me as I thought I was trusting Camosun to make sure my experience was great, paying $5000 for tuition then finding all this out NOW is messed up. I hope no one else has to go through this terrible experience with Camosun. 0 stars.

I'm an undergrad from a small town, I went in looking for help as to how to get myself upgraded, not only did they let me know how easy it can be, they even asked what I'm planning to do and reassured me that my idea of how to get where I want was realistic and a great way of going about it! Really had a pleasant first experience with the school! Can't wait to get enrolled!

Beautiful campus, great profs, good variety of courses, very nice rentable space, good food/coffee to grab a bite and get your caffeine fix, decently priced given the other options for post-secondary courses.

Great school, very student focused, engaged faculty and staff. Committed to student success, beautiful campus. Food services are lacking on evenings and weekends.
