  I attended with my puppy. It is a walk in and walk out store. I put my puppy inside my jacket so I could go in and get a cone. A young girl comes out from behind the counter at the store and yells over the counter, "excuse me..is that a dog in your jacket? " you can't be in here as it's unsanitary. My dog is not on the floor or touching a thing. I left.
  My daughter gets my ice cream cone and saysthat girl was handing money and scooping ice cream with out washing her hands or wearing gloves to touch the cones. THAT IS UNSANITARY.. UGH.
  She could have been much more polite but she should look after her own sanitary issues before hollering across a crowded room at someone.

  Mmmm. Just awesome, so many flavors. Summer can be really busy with big lines, but they always have a large and efficient staff to speed things up. Worth it!

  This place is pretty awesome. I mean, it's ice cream, how can it now be? I would have given 5 stars, but man, the lineup was out the door and there were only a limited amount of people working. I mean, it was a Tuesday, but still, the poor girls behind the counter looked like they were run off their feet! Regardless. You come here, you get epic ice cream, you leave happy. It doesn't get much better than that.

  Awesome ice cream and sherbet - everyone in the area has been going to Shaws for years and years. They have a pleasant outdoor seating area with newer, well maintained, large picnic tables with umbrellas, a huge lawn kids can run around on, and lots of parking. Staff are always friendly and you can sample a flavour or two before committing to your selection. They are open year round (bonus!) and have some indoor seating. Take out tubs are available. My family loves trips to Shaws, it's a summertime institution.

  Great selection of ice cream. A must stop on the way to or from Port Stanley. Also great Sundays! It can be busy so get ready to line up.

  Best ice cream around. Their Pistachio Almond is outta this world & the Pumpkin (seasonal) is to die for. Mmmmmmmmmm

  Any and every flavour of ice cream you could want. We stop every time we're on our way back from Port Stanley. Sometimes I tag along with friends or family to Port Stanley just because I know this will be a stop.
