  Incredibly handsome manager! Professional, courteous and above and beyond service. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Rented from multiple locations in london. Service is constant and efficient.

  Worst experience from this location. I had 2 rentals within the time frame of a few weeks driving the. The first vehicle I had for 2 weeks I exchanged for a truck. Everything had came back clear and processed with the 2nd vehicle , driving it for about a week. Had taken the truck back on my agreeded date. July 4th 2017. I was informed that a $250 charge would be held on my credit card for "smoking". (Which I do not smoke). Upon looking at my credit card statement I had been charged $537, an additional smoking charge on the first vehicle . I work in construction, alot of asphalt and tar roofs, plus alot of restoration work I.e fire and water damage. On top of being a long weekend, as Canada's day. There was tons of fireworks and bonfires everywhere. This is a unjustified fee. Be careful people!

  The South Western Ontario Manager - Mike - treated me with the utmost respect. He was kind, informative, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I was reimbursed and comfortable in my rental. Thank you Mike. You treated me like a human being and I felt valued. You have shown me that Discount is a company that truly values the people it serves.

  We rented a vehicle to to travel out of business for a trade show. The person working the desk insisted I show him our policy as proof of insurance. I've never had to do this before with any of the other vehicles I've rented. Not sure about anyone else but we don't carry our auto policy around with us and I didn't have time to go digging through paper work as I was leaving town. Of course it was a weekend and my insurance company was closed and couldn't email it to me. The person at the desk forced me to sign for the insurance to take the vehicle. Had I had time to go elsewhere I would've left without taking the car. Once my insurance company was open I had them email me my policy which shows we are in fact covered for rentals and I didn't need the $19.99 a day insurance they made me take. When I returned to town and returned the vehicle I kindly asked to have those charges removed as they were unnecessary. I was snapped at very rudely and told no by the same person who had made me sign for it. Considering this Paul person is the branch manager I would've expected a bit more customer service or any sort of personality or kindness. As a business owner I'm thoroughly disappointed with the fact that they are so obviously ripping people off without any sort of care. Their company mission statement reads "Do whatever it takes to deliver a superior rental experience every time." That is definitely not what happened. In the past I've had fantastic service there but I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. If you're looking to rent, save yourself the aggravation and go anywhere else.

  Staff was friendly, and truck was clean. I was not pleased that they insisted on verifying my insurance specifically covered cube trucks, so that they could slam me with 25.99 for 1 day of insurance.
  
  They haven't earned my loyalty, but overall the vehicle and staff at this location were fine.

  The worst ever customer service. As a business owner I was appalled by the lack of professionalism. The truck was dirty. I rented it for just one day and then they were not open. Although they never told me that they were not going to be open, nor how to drop off the truck.
  Very very bad. Will never do business with them again. I suggest customers go to Enterprise!

  I reserved the vehicle on line and had a response within 10 minutes.the staff at wharncliffe were attentive and helpful and made the whole process easythe vehicle was ready to go .all in all a good experience and have already recommended them to friends and family,
