Hotel is very dated, but that adds to the charm. Original elevator (must be 80 years old). Suites are very large. Fireplaces and kitchens.

We chose Rosellen due to its location to Stanley Park. The room we received was a little dated but it was still clean and comfortable. The price seemed to be of tremendous value to us given the main stream hotels were 2-3x what we paid for this. The staff who met us in the lobby was very courteous and accommodating. I would stay here again in a heart beatthey even throw in a gym membership while you're here!!!

Hotel is very quaint and enjoyable. It's conveniently located next to Stanley park and its easy to walk anywhere downtown. Tag is a very knowledgeable and helpful concierge. My wife and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Vancouver.

The room was very spacious and clean. The appliances and fixtures were old and outdated, but it was pleasantly fun. Parking spaces inside were quite tight but management was very kind and extremely helpful in all aspects. Excellent location literally half a block from Stanley Park.

2 bed 2 bath suite worked great for our extended family of 7 for our 2 night stay. We walked to Stanley Park and were able to walk to the grocery store, as well. It was nice to have a kitchen. Definitely would stay here again.

Had a nice stay for three nights. After being on a long road trip for over 4 weeks, Rosellen was a nice change from chain hotels. We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and dining area. It was very clean and well furnished, also close to Stanley Park and many restaurants. Thanks to the manager Kent, who was very helpful and hospitable during our stay. We would definitely stay at Rosellen again in the future.

Old and tired building. Electrical outlets not secured in walls properly even though they don't work in the first place. Kitchen suite is basic as possible. Bring a knife sharpener if you wish to cut more than cheese. You need to be creative to keep the doors covering the tv open so you can watch it. A garbage container under the sink that actually fit the door would be a plus. The couch is probably the 3rd most uncomfortable on the planet. It's basically camping in Vancouver. The only good part is the mattress on the bed and distance to amenities. All the negatives add up to not worth the money unless you absolutely need a suite with a very small basic kitchen. Even getting your belongings to your room is going to be a fun time.

I wasn't expecting much, as this was a last minute booking and we needed room for 3 with privacyAt a low price. So we got a one bedroom place and planned to have our friend sleep on the sofa bed. This place surprised us by upgrading our room to a large 2-bedroom suite! Plus the staff are friendly. I would recommend buying parking, as parking in this area is quite difficult and everything requires a permit.

Misleading reviews and website full of fairy tales. Don't let the website or marketing pics tell you this place is anything but an old and tired, cheaply refurbished place. For $320/night I was expecting a bit more than a dry roof over my head, but that's about what we got. It's far from any transport links, decent places to have a breakfast and the pool access is not anywhere near the building. My first reaction was to turn around and flee, unfortunately everything else in town was full.

Staying presently at the hotel with my husband and three kids. Our experience so far has been remarkable. The hotel itself is very well located, within walking distance from the beach, restaurants and even Stanley park. Rooms are large, well decorated and clean. The staff, especially Kent and Dianne are very warm and extremely helpful in every way. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Checking out tomorrow and very sad to be leaving.
