BEAUTIFUL PUB - LOVELY DECOR AND AMBIANCE however the service was horrible - someone who was running by the door gestured and said just sit anywhere - which we did but no one approached our table - finally after about 10 minutes My husband went in search of a waitress to ask for menus but couldn't find anyone - eventually a waitress came into the room to serve someone else so we flagged her down and at last got a couple menus at least . The food was OK .

My wife and I went here for lunch last week and had a excellent time. They were very short staffed that day, I can't seem to remember our servers name. I do know she had a English accent and was from outside of London England. I really can't express how great she was, she was run off her feet and still provided outstanding service to everyone in the whole place. I had the Nachos and my wife had fish and chips both were excellent.

We waited 50 minutes to get our food. We were a group of four and our food came out at separate times. Not to mention, the chicken sandwich I order came to me as a chicken ceasar wrap!

Amazing service, lovely old English decor and the food is very good. Everything I had was made in house. A little off the beaten track which only enhanced the experience for me. I highly recommend the Rocking Horse Pub! Say hi to Hannah, she is a gem!

Outdated and musty. Bored servers, complete lack of interest in being friendly, the food was tasteless! If you want to experience 'how bad can a burger be', go here. Ordered a ceasar salad with chicken and was soupy with dressing and 4 slices of chicken breast that tasted like processed chicken. Not worth the drive or the moneywon't be going back! Certainly don't recommend it!! Lots of other nicer places in the area to visit than this.

Gets one star for the fries. Six of us went for lunch only 2 enjoyed their meal. Steaks were thin, tough and small. Onion rings were thicker than the steak. Steak and kidney "soup" not pie very little meat and overly salted. Clearly the staff didn't have a vested interest. NO reduction in our bill.
