Service was great. Manager and our server Brooke were on top of their game food was meh. Calamari and nachos weren't seasoned properly. Nachos seemed like they were made a bit haphazardly needed better distribution of toppings.

This is a great place to meet friends and unwind after a long day. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the lighting is just right. It is not overly loud so you can easily hear each other when talking.

Cute place to have casual eats. Service was incredibly friendly. Food was well prepared and tasty. Mac and cheese is filling and you get what you paid for. Soup + salad was tasty but a little over priced. Homemade lemonade is a must try. Would recommend

Great place to eat especially on Sunday afternoon. Brunch until 2pm. They are really good about allergies. Beautiful building with lovely patio.

Browns Socialhouse in Nanaimo North is a cozy, friendly little place to relax and enjoy a fine meal. I started with the crunchy spicy tuna tacos, which were tasty and had a satisfying amount of crunch. My entrée was the steak sandwich, which was an unexpected delight. The steak was cooked to perfection and was one of the most flavorful and tender cuts of beef I've ever had, which is not something I would have expected from your average steak sandwich. I would love to see them prepare a proper steak dinner, with that entree being a strong indication of those abilities. Dessert was an Oreo Jar, a Oreo cheesecake in a Mason jar, which was velvety smooth, rich, with a crunchy Oreo base. Definitely worth going again. Have since tried their burgers and pizza, both of which were well above average.

Great service and great menu. Have visited the Victoria location and finally got a chance to visit up here with my wife. Dragon bowl was amazing and wasn't too expensive. A nice relaxing environment, friendly servers. Would decinately return

Good service and atmosphere but unfortunately the quality of the dish I ordered was not. I always order the chicken burger with lettuce instead of the bun however at this location the chef did not understand this concept. The lettuce was wilted (maybe sat for too long before being served?) and it wasn't tightly wrapped like how the other Browns Socialhouse restaurants do it. Anyone who has tried this type of burger will know that it needs to be tightly wrapped otherwise you are simply getting a bunch of lettuce with the insides of whatever burger you ordered. The food was good just not delivered well which really takes away from the experience. The Browns Socialhouse restaurants should have the same standards across the board but at the very least watch what leaves the kitchen - it's hard to imagine a chef allowing this to leave his or her kitchen. Maybe next time will be better, but for anyone attempting this type of burger (lettuce wrapped), be specific in what you are expecting.

This place has a very nice look and feel. I have always had good service and nice food here. It also has a fantastic virtual tour, I am a Google Trusted Photographer so I know. (I did not do their tour).Go and look inside. It's nice.
