Nice atmosphere and friendly faces gave an amazing first impression. Being there for a concert, I was glad that the refreshments were affordable. Will definitely find my way back here again.

Had a great time here. Pool table and drinks! Although we had to wait a very long time to get a Pool table. Other than that, it seems like a very nice place. I will come back again :) Drinks were meh

I love the Riv. A long time since I have been but had the opportunity of dropping in last Wednesday. Brought back some great memories. Great place to see a concert. The place is a Toronto landmark on Queen West in the6ix

It's a decent sized venue with a upper pool lounge area, restaurant area on the main floor and a small intimate showroom in the back that subs for comedians and artists to put on a show.

The food isn't especially noteworthy but it's decent to sit down for small pub dishes if you're into that.

The prices for alcohol are in line with the rest of the city. About $7-10/drink.

It's located right around Queen / Spadina.

It was one of the venues used for JFL42

    BEST FRIES IN TOWN!
and the chicken burger was pretty great too! They also had a good cocktail selection.

Service was quick for an early dinner and staff were VERY friendly and helpful!

Surprisingly awesome place for brunch. $5 mimosas and Caesars are off to a great start. Food was bang on delicious-had the blue cheese BLT with scrumptious rosemary shoestring fries. Patio is set up for proper people watching on a lazy weekend afternoon. Love love this place!

Great place! Lots of pool tables, beer, and decent music. Don't set your expectations too high, don't set them too low, and you will fit in just right. An average regular, I am telling you.

Great place with a cozy patio. Nice drink selection and great food. Lots of pool tables but they are in pretty rough shape. Fine for casual play but not serious players.

A pretty versatile place! came here for some mid-evening drinks and snacks before going to see some live music. They have a decent selection of small snack foods, and some larger portions of salads/sandwiches. Upstairs is a pool hall which gets really busy, (and loud) so go early! Their selection of drinks was pretty good too. If you're looking for something to do on the weekends, you can bet something will be going on.

Are you a pretentious pool hustler? If you are, don't bother coming here. The place has a nice, relaxed attitude, especially with pool. It's great a place to hangout and unwind and not worry about sucking in pool. There's also a restaurant downstairs and a concert venue in the back. It's practically got everything except for axe throwing binocular soccer tourneys.

Beer selection is limited, but fine. Nice place to relax and play pool. Good for small to medium sized groups. Staff are friendly. Nice place to hang out.

Such a great venue, I have been here many times over the years and always have a good time. I saw Michelle Willis play last week and the sound was amazing. It's such a nice intimate setting, warm lighting and sound, and nice staff.

I've been here several times. Once for a live performance and twice to play pool upstairs. This was my first experience eating here. The food was pretty good and had a unique twist.
