WOWwhat a place great food as always. Great Service. I love how they write your name on the plate for your birthdays! Atmosphere could be a bit more lively but ok

I've been here a half dozen times and it's usually quite good. This time was completely different. Calamari appetizer, although delicious was TINY. I have this every visit and this was half the size of normal. Unacceptable for 13 bucks. Seafood spagetini had one of the three seafood items missing. Portion size again was TINY. This was lunch sized at best. Shrimp were also TINY, not what you expect in a higher end restaurant. Some mussels that hadn't opened during cooking were still served! Service was fine as usual but not sure I can go back. Very disappointing as this was one of my go to's.

I wanted to try something new for my birthday so, after passing by this restaurant I decided to give it a try. The outside looked very nice and modern. It looked like it would be a good time.I read various mixed reviews online about this place but, wanted to try it out first hand . I regret doing so. The place looks way better outside than it does inside. I was expecting it to be more elegant. I ordered the chicken penne. What a disappointment! So bland absolutely no taste! They claim it's made with rose sauce but, i beg to differ. I actually returned it. After 10 it's only bar menu. Which is very early to close the kitchen considering the location (Yonge & Front) and the fact that it's a Saturday night in Toronto ! The service was horrible !!! The waiter and waitress were extremely rude . Their alcohol selection was non existent. We ordered bread there was none because, again the oven was "closed" . I can go on with complaints . I Extremely disappointed as a result my friends and I will not be returning.

Sat on the patio for dinner at 6 pm on a Sunday. Great service. The food was reasonably priced. Ran out of some items by we came so lunch may be a better time to go. Right outside the Sony Centre - convenient dinner before a show.

(I can't write any comment without any 'star' selected, but they don't even deserve any star):
It was on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, around 10 PM. We picked up our Japanese family friends from Toronto Pearson airport and arrived this restaurant for dinner (6 people). They put us on the bar side of the restaurant with high table and chairs. The server appeared after 30 minutes of waiting. We and our guests were so hungry ! As a Canadian my wife and I were so embarrassed in front of our starving Japanese friends. Eventually, the foods came on the table. Foods were good. For napkins, water and drink I had to leave my table couple of times to call a server. Saw couple of servers at the back of the bar chatting with their coworkers, careless about their customers. After an embarrassing dinner time spent, they brought the check, my wife paid the bill with $0 tips. Right away, a chatty girl (most likely a server) from the kitchen side showed up, asking for 'the reason' of not paying the tips. My wife's straight forward question was, 'why should I' ? The girl seemed to be upset and started arguing. My son stopped her by telling, 'we can't change our mind'. Anyway, I am not going anymore to O&B, seriously ! Also, telling my friends and family about this story. As a Canadian, we were really embarrassed in front of our friends from Japan, where 'service is something like a precise gem'.response / report this review -

Went for a meal before Blue Jay game and found the food far from what I would expect from a restaurant with the name Oliver & Bonacini
The food was sub par at best . Had the fish and chips [thick mushy batter ] my grandson had the Mac & cheese which he barely touched [no flavour] and he is a very hearty eater. My Daughter had the Salmon which was over cooked. My wife did enjoy her scallops. For a meal that was over $200. it was a real disappointment. The service was good. I will not be back. To many other restaurants in the region that are much better.response / report this review -

Nice patio for lunch. Meanest old fashioned I've had in a while. My entree's spicing was fantastic. The mushroom soup was lukewarm and mediocre. I probably would enjoy the soup more if it was served first since it was much milder in taste.

Really great pasta. Nice patio area in the summer time along Front street. Good location. Right at Front and Yonge across from the Sony Arts Centre. Walking distance from king and Union station. Wasn't overly packed despite the timing over lunch in a Friday downtown. Priced a little high for the portions but not too high. Next time I go I would share something with a friend to make it a little more cost effective. If on the patio it can get a little noisy from the traffic but wasn't horrible.

Pizza was less than average and gave me heart burn. Pasta dish friend ordered was"I can make better". Service was also slow and not attentive. Very disappointed as the 2 friends I was with loved the one in bayview.

The food was amazing. I split the calamari, spinach salad and the scallop and shrimp pasta. We also got a glass of the Argento Malbec. Everything was perfect expect for the server who I felt was unfriendly.

Always a good meal. It can get busy which does slow the service down. It is a place to have a slow meal and not to rush through. Fabulous for a date night but you need to request a single table

The restaurant is beautiful. The service was very professional and friendly. The food was good. Great for dates, groups, or out of town visits!

Expensive for breakfast and the food didn't wow us. He had eggs Benedict and expected them to be amazing since O&B is pretty upscale but was quite disappointed. I had the smoothie bowl and It was fine but I could make a better one myself and for much less money.
