Celebrated a birthday here and it was such a great experience. It's a small and intimate restaurant that really focuses on providing amazing service and delicious food. We started with a charcuterie board of assorted meats and cheeses and it was presented so beautifully and was simply the perfect start to the meal. They make some of the meats in house and it was so fresh and so good! We got a sliced ham (I think) with chunks of infused pistachios with ours and man it was savoury! We then shared three pasta dishes which were all delicious. The Gnocchi was so soft & caci e pepe with the sheep's milk cheese was my favourite! Prices are so decent for what you get as well. Oh and I can't forget about how good the sticky toffee pudding was! I just wish they told us how hot little glass container it came in was cause I touched it and almost gave myself a blister. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!
Had a quick stop here with my wife and the food and service was fantastic! They have really tasty bread! My wife had a Cachio E Pepe (pasta dish with sheep's milk cheese) and I had the spicy Tuscon meat platter. Both tasted great! I'm definitely coming back here!
The best place in town for Italian food. The service is exquisite and the food is delicious. They make a great Manhattan. This is a favorite spot.
This is an absolute gem! The decor and ambiance is just perfect. You step out of the streets of Toronto and enter In to a quiet back street of Italy! You're greeted by staff who are genuinely passionate about their craft. The bar man was hugely knowlagable about the wines they served and picked an exquisite bottle, perfectly matching the food and temperature! After being seated we were greeted by a server who was funny, informative, and extremely personable! He knew the menu inside out and didn't need to write down a single order everything he suggested was just perfection and not a single error with the order! Our wine glass was never empty nore was the water. If you have a love of real pasta, beautifully crafted food, great service and fantastic wine then Enoteca Sociale is a must!!
The atmosphere and service are the two most impressive things about Enoteca, but the food is not far behind. Traditional italian fare done to perfection in what feels like Nonna's dining room. Our server deserves a specific shout out - we showed up with six guys somewhat intoxicated at 9:15 and asked for a tasting menu. Of course it was a little late in the game for that, but our server offered to order off the menu for us and hit the nail on the head. Her food and wine recommendations were flawless, as was her and her colleagues attention to detail, warm demeanor, and unpretentious delivery of high level service. Would recommend to all and will certainly be back.
Great food and great drinks Sat at the bar for dinner, and Patrick was awesome. All the staff seemed great .. highly recommended! Comfortable atmospherebuzzy but not too noisy and no music which is welcome.
Excellent meal. Ordered mostly pastas and they were all great. Good portions as well. Was very happy with the service. Dissapointed I never came here sooner!
Top shelf! We more or less had everything on the menu. Great charcuterie, deadly pasta, tasty fish and rib eye. Service is on point as well. Worth checking out.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining here and will do so again! A party of 14 of us dined in the private wine cellar. The food, employees and venue made it a night to remember. The manager was kind enough to allow me to bring gifts for guests and store a cake overnight. Then decorated the table accordingly. Thank you for making this a magical evening!!!
Hands-down my favorite restaurant in Toronto. The food is delicious, the cocktails well-made (though I wish they'd ditch Bombay for Tanquerey), and the staff are among the best you can find anywhere. I eat here weekly and have never been disappointed.
Pasta is pretty tasty. Steak was decent too. Not bad. First time I wasn't impressed, but the second time was much tastier.
Enoteca Sociale is a very cozy and delicious Italian restaurant.
Service was friendly and efficient during my visit. This also happens to be one of my wife's favorite places in the city, and she says it's always great and has been for years.
For food I highly recommend the arancini for an appetizer. For a main, the orecchiette was good, too. Although the cacio e pepe spaghetti was a little better.
We went there on Monday night. The steak tasted good but it was absolutely not worth $50! We also got a tomato based pasta which tasted terrible. The steak came with no sides. The waiters were not nice at all. The menu had nothing special. And the worse part was that they had nothing with chicken! Even there was no pasta served with chicken which was so disappointing. I don't recommend this place at all if you want to have your main dish.
Service was great. Food was very good but the wine was over priced. $25 for a 9 oz glass of Italian wine was a bit much. I thought the portions were a bit on the light side for the price we paid.
Overall we had a great experience though.
I will definitely return. Dab
