Steaks are over priced for the cut and quality. The creamed spinach side was below subpar. Very watery. And when asked if this is how they serve their creamed spinach they said yes. For a place this expensive and the all the hype around it it should have been the best meal I’ve ever had. This is far from the case. Service is top notch, food is way below what is expected. Have had better meals at the Keg!

Look. It's good. It's a high end steak house with fabulous service. But my last few visits have been sub par. They have some really expensive cuts of meat here, but anything I've had that is outside of their regular USDA $60 cuts I have never enjoyed.

We visited Jacobs to treat a friend for his birthday, and enjoyed every moment of our dining experience. Right from the valet to the wait staff, we were treated royally. It's so refreshing to be greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The meal was amazing, so well prepared and extraordinarily delicious! If you haven't had the caesar salad at Jacobs you haven't lived! Such a treat to watch being prepared at your table and being provided so professionally with all the details of ingredients and preparation.technique. Such an appreciation for an amazing staff, who are obviously superb in their positions, but the greatest ingredient of all is the flavor of family among them all. It's a very relaxing, courteous, friendly, genuine and yet truly professional establishment to visit. Highly recommended!

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a really nice dinner and Jacobs & Co. certainly lived up to its reputation. The food was so tasty and the service was truly excellent. We were made to feel so comfortable from the first moment walking in until after we left. This is a place we will definitely be saving up for to experience again!

My partner & I came to this place while visiting Toronto & didn't know much about it before we walked in. We felt pretty underdressed because it was quite a high class place. Regardless of this, the staff was incredibly kind & accommodating. During the entire walk to our seats, we were repeatedly greeted with big smiles & courteous behavior. We received delicious complimentary bread & water that was consistently refilled without needing to ask. The waitress was very informative about the items on the menu & was able to suggest good pairings as well. We had delicious chicken & there were lots of steaks to choose from! The steaks were the most expensive, ranging from 60$-1200$. If you come to this restaurant, plan ahead & book a reservation through their website. For us, to walk in at random, we were lucky that there was a free table for us! Although a little expensive for my tastes, I highly recommend this restaurant, very pleased! I would definitely recommend this to celebrate an anniversary, for a small group for a birthday or for a fancy night out!

Hands down the best steaks and Cesar salad. The food is amazing, the staff is beyond friendly, and everyone goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great dinner at Jacobs. The piano lounge downstairs is also a favorite and an amazing spot to have a bite to eat.

A bit pricey but a great dining experience! The table side Caesar salad was amazing and has to be part of one's experience. The complimentary bread appetizer was pretty yummy too.
There were a bunch of steak options from across Canada, the US and Japan. We got medium rare striploins (Norfolk, ON & Rocky View, AB) - can't go wrong!response / report this review -

Nothing compares to you Jacobs & Co! It wasn't dinner, it was a religious experience. The Kobe was worth every penny! I recommend a tasting of several steaks. Take a journey from Canada to the US and finally to Japan. The table side Caesar salad has to be part of your experience.

The steaks are to die for - well worth the prices asked. The service goes above and beyond making the experience almost magical. Easily the best steaks I've had in my life (by a mile) and thats before even commenting on the ceased salad (A must have!)

Party of four ordered the Lobster Chopped Salad for an appetizer, four steaks, totaling 31oz, along with a side of fries and mushrooms for the main course. Also shared the pecan brownie and cherry cheesecake desserts. Front entrance is not well signed and difficult to find but once inside the service and ambiance was excellent. There were an army of wait staff delivering food, filling up our water, cleaning the table, etc. Very professional but still friendly. Food was incredible, as was expected. Price was be a little high considering there are similar places in the city to have a good steak and maybe spend a few dollars less. But overall no major complaints and we had a great time.

Best service, best steak ever had. The salad is amazing and love the chocolate chip muffins they give you to go. Honestly would go just for the very attentive servers and appreciate how knowledgeable they are with their recommendations if you don't know what to eat! Cannot recommend enough

Best steak I ever had. Excellent service, great atmosphere and very courteous staff. Prices are high, but the quality of the meats is second to none, and they are cooked to perfection. The entrées are generous and can be shared between two people. Attire is business casual. Great place to celebrate special occasions.

It's no wonder that Jacob's is truly a top steak places in Toronto. They've covered all the aspects of a remarkable steakhouse - delicious, impeccably prepared steaks (and sides!), interactive Caesar salad, excellent wine and cocktail selection. Finally, the service, as someone with 8 years of hospitality service experience, is absolutely perfect. Jeez, even the post-meal take home MUFFINS are amazing. I would highly recommend this steakhouse to someone inquiring.
