Came to work with Kate at Riverstone some years ago and my insurance costs dropped hundreds per year. Dealing with a broker is the only way to go as they get the best value for you. Simplicity of changes to a policy is the best and it's good to hear you have overland flooding insurance for the residence of the valley. (Natasja below was let down by Bill and when he retired and Kates other coworker quit that tippled her workloadgive her a break geeshshe is an excellent broker just sadly under appreciated and overly worked)

This company should be called HEAD UP THEIR ASS as that's exactly what the brokers act like.
Was referred by an associate and friend and went with them as I was in a hurry.
Bill was my contact. Then Bill pretty much forgot everything we discussed and had to follow up again to ask what my profession was as he'd forgotten. Real good Bill.
Then I called when I sold my house and wanted to change from house insurance to contents insurance. Found out good ole Bill had retired and requested someone get back to me regarding my changes.
When I finally did get a call back from Kate, she claimed to no nothing for the reason she was calling me back.
Then I called again and explained time was a commodity and how I was already tired of mine being wasted with Bill and now her.
We spoke on a Friday and I requested that Kate share what we discussed and sent it off in writing with what the new monthly amount would be and an update on my policy etc.
3 DAYS and I had to call back again! Then got some bs email that took her seconds to compose and an amount that is half of what cost me to insure a $600,000 house for!
Seriously anyone shopping around, do yourself a favour and RUN from the joke of a business! I'll be shopping around immediately.
What an absolute embarrassment for products or services. The owners got some real ass hats working for her!

Yes, you might get a claim number but at RIVERSTONE INSURANCE you are never treated like one. Highly recommend Riverstone for auto, home and business insurance. Rest assured you are dealing with professional, experienced, knowledgeable staff that genuinely care.
