  Lovely shop to explore quilting, get ideas and they also have copies of quilting newspaper available. Wonderful and very friendly staff. There's also a little room hidden in corner upstairs with left over pieces of cheap cloth, and good bargain!

  Last year my aunt and I made a day trip out from Calgary to visit Sugar Pine Quilt Store. We spent 5 hours enjoying all the goodies. Today we took my sister along as she had never been there. We were good. We only spent 4 hours this time. Love this shop. Fantastic selection, good prices. Clean and bright store. Everything you could want in a quilt store upstairs, and knitting, threads, buttons & gifts on the main floor.

  SUCH an amazing place!!!! Their selection of yarns is awesome, carrying a ton of colours that just aren't available anywhere else!!! Also, the quilting fabric would take you days to look at it all!!!! Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
  
  (It is a little pricier than some places for yarn, but the selection more than makes up for it)

  This store is amazing! The staff is amazing too! A must see for any crafter visiting the Rocky Mountains.
  
  I saw a yarn there and three months later I called to see if they still had it avaliable. They did! Because I live in Edmonton, the guy mailed me the yarn. The shipping prices were reasonable. The service was fantastic.

  I can't say too many nice things about Sugar Pine. Not only do they have quilting supplies, but they have an great selection of yarns, buttons and notions for knitters and crocheters. The staff / owners are friendly and knowledgeable and seem to be able to talk shop with every kind of crafter.
