We have been privileged with the opportunity to try out the new, not yet official, release of a Guardonix (http://www.guardonix.com) forensic write blocker created by DeepSpar (http://www.deepspar.com).
We still have lots of playing to do, but our initial feeling is that this unit will be very helpful to computer forensics experts as will the basic unit without the forensic add-ons for computer technicians.
Here is a quick sneak peak video showing the Guardonix interface while imaging a MacBook SSD with WinHex on a Windows 10 system.

Let’s talk about the differences between minor and major data recovery. Minor recovery doesn’t require complicated head changes or chip-off services. However, major recovery usually does require head changes or chip off services, and therefore requires more time and includes cost of parts. Lost data? Don’t panic. Contact us for more info.

The team at Recovery Force are amazing! I cannot say enough great things. I sent them my back-up external hard drive that was clicking after my first back-up failed. At first, the team thought there was very little they could do to recover the files on the drive; however, Luke and the rest of the crew were able to recover over 98% of my files in just over a week's time. They were professional, honest, reliable, and dependable. They saved my business and my reputation! I was prepared for the worst after two other companies looked at the drive and were not able to do anything (luckily, one recommended Recovery Force). I had the unfortunate experience of my laptop crashing and would not boot up. and of course this happened on a weekend. After searching and finding help on Sunday I learned that my hard drive was in serious trouble and I needed to find a data recovery company. Lucky for me I found Recovery Force and first thing Monday morning I was there with my laptop. By the time I got 'home' I had a message that there was a small number of files damaged. They would have my data recovered by the end of the day and if not by then it would be the next morning. True to their word early Tuesday I received notification that all but 38 of close to 99,000 files were recovered. This was way more than I ever imagined. I was indeed fortunate. I also know not everyone will be as fortunate as me, but the truth is that this is a great company. They are not only good at what they do, they are wonderful people. Great customer service. Great work! All round a great company whose name you do not ever want to forget! Of course I am thrilled to have my files recovered but it is for these very reasons about this company that I write this review and share my experience.

I want to give a huge thank you and shout out to Recovery Force. I deleted the last months worth of photo's on my phone as I was rushing.

and my brothers wedding pictures (good thing I wasn't the official photographer)
I called them and while it was not worth sending them my phone to recover the pictures they gave me some free advise over the phone and recommended an app called DiskDigger - which WORKED!!
I had called a few other places who told me it could not be done - When in doubt this will be who I now call for advice or for other jobs other then a months worth of pictures I will just hire them to doresponse / report this review -

Recovery Force worked on my 10TB 5 bay unit and recovered 100% of the data in less than a week! They offered fast, transparent, friendly service, as well as a bunch of educational tips on how to prevent data loss in the future. They also charged me half of the quote I received before from a big name recovery company.

So, I had a hard drive failure which resulted in my almost losing the use of my computer, including almost 900GB of my media files and data. I also learned that my backup setup wasn't working up until this failure, so restoring my data wasn't an option (Fuck me, right?).
With the IT help of @[512116218:Brandon Walek], he was able to reestablish my PC as functional- alas- without the said drive.
To recover my data, Brandon attempted:
-Using Recuva, TestDisk, DD Rescue, etc.
-Attempted system restore/recovery
-Attempted to clone damaged drive using programs Acronis and Ghost
-Attempted to access files using live boot systems with live USB Linux systems, as well as in Windows.
But still, no luck!
The best news I received this week was when Recovery Force informed me that they were able to retrieve 99.96% of my data lost from the hard drive. With this being said, Brandon tried everything to recover the data, and RecoveryForce has brought me peace of mind. I've yet to pay and pick up the drive, but I wanted to type this out as I don't doubt I'll be satisfied once I sync it all up, again.
The value of their services are definitely worth what they charge, and I do recommend them!! Also worth being said, is that their customer service was great and highly professional- especially Luke- and they made me feel comfortable commissioning their services as a trans adult star (take a guess what kind of media I had on my drive �), considering they would have seen my data.

After posting on a message board about a hard drive that had been sent to a data recovery lab and was told the drive was non-recoverable. I was contacted by Luke from RecoveryForce. He offered to take a look at the drive image remotely, gave an assessment and had me send the physical drive in. Within 24 hours, his team had a working copy of all the data on the drive and within 7 business days of sending the drive, the restored data was back in my possession. Not only were they able to do the restore, but Luke has spent no less than 2 hours personally speaking to me about possible mistakes & shortcuts that other data recovery vendors make & take, as well as informing me about reading hex information on partition sectors and boot tables.
It's one thing when someone just does the job, gets paid and it's over. It's another when they chose to educate their consumers and put a personal touch on a transaction.
If you're reading this, you're possibly in need of data recovery help. I would emphatically advise that you contact RecoveryForce - their pricing is fair and the level of service I received made the total cost of shipping to Canada (from the US) worth it. They are the best around. Great price. I'm a Photographer and had a corrupt hard drive. I could have lost all my scanned images which initially cost me a lot of time and money.
