It is a beautiful hotel. Each room is unique and different. Our room was a single room that overlooked the street. Our friends room has a sitting room with library and fireplace in addition to their bedroom. The hotel was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and the staff was amazing. It is in a good location to enjoy the shops downtown and a short walk away from the lake. There is a restaurant on site with a cozy bar. Hallways are winding and fun to explore. It maintain the vintage integrity while keeping it classy and well appointed.

An historic building full of old charm without feeling out-dated. The exterior fits well with the surrounding neighborhood. So much so that I drove past it when I first arrived.

Went to reserve a room for my wife's birthday this week. The staff allowed my daughter and I to check out the property and explore. I worked here when I was younger and loved it then. It hasn't changed. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and I am looking forward to the stay in the amazing room.

Beautiful hotel. It was filled with pink roses that added to the stunningly rich decor. The room was very clean and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. We found the staff hospitable and friendly. Little things like a rose on the pillow, chocolates on the side table, robes and slippers in the room added a touch of class and comfort. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a lovely experience at Niagara On The Lake. The hotel is also in town and within walking distance to just about everything.

My mom and I have been wanting to stay here for years. In the mean time, we enjoy the high tea served in the drawing room. We come 2-3 times a year just for the high tea. The hotel is stunning and the food offered with the tea is tasty and light. If you love tea it is definitely worth the price.

Had afternoon tea in the tea room at the Prince of Wales. Was a lovely experience. Great room perfect for conversation. Delicious food and the server was professional, attentive and discrete. I've been to tea in high end hotel in London UK, and I would say this was a very similar experience. Highly recommend!

First time stay. Everything from the initial greeting to check out was really outstanding. The room was very tastefully decorated Even the lobby had Beautiful rose sent (found out the scent was made custom made for the hotel). The staff was all knowledgeable, polite and prompt. I will definitely visit again.

My wife and I had high tea in the Drawing room. I highly recommend valet parking. [No charge for guests, only a tip recommended] The hotel is classic elegance. The service was professional. The tea was excellent. Highly recommended!

Great service. Housekeeping clean our room twice, once in the morning and one more time around 5-6. The bed was very comfortable. The shuttle service to the major winery was a amazing. You could drink as much as you wanted and didn't need to worry about driving back. You did however had to be sober enough to call the hotel and ask them to pick you up. Two bottled water everyday. They also provide you with great tasting coffee at the reception desk. All in all a great place to stay. I am plant to bring my entire family here next year.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel and experience. The staff really made my birthday weekend an unforgettable one. I had contacted the hotel originally to ask about hotel packages and showed the rates I was facing on an almost fully booked weekend. They were happy to get me a better rate then ANY website online! My boyfriend also was able to book a horse & carriage ride, and champagne and a dozen roses to be delivered to our room as a surprise.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty!!! The resort fee includes Valet service so we were promptly helped into check in and up to our room. Bed was comfortable and rooms are quiet. We took advantage of the salt water pool and hot tub the same night, it was wonderful! They also offer transportation to any place in old town!
I only took one star away because despite how regal, clean and well kept the rest of the building is, the carpet in our room was riddled with stains! We obviously didn't let that hinder our experience, though.
We will definitely come back when we are looking to be spoiled!response / report this review -

Prince of Wales Afternoon Tea is a fun experience in Niagara Falls.
My wife dragged me to this place on our anniversary, but I ended up having a blast.
Later we re-visited with the family, the kids loved it too!
I recommend anyone looking for a unique experience to book a session of afternoon tea, they can even provide gluten free treats and sandwiches if you give them 48 hours notice.response / report this review -

The staff, the ambience and the rooms were all wonderful. A few things were a bit disappointing. We were given the option of non standard pillows the memory foam was essentially a brick. It was not memory foam it almost reminded me of cardboard. We had a couples massage in the Secret Garden Spa. Although the leg massage was great, my shoulders are in much much more pain than before. I actually feel bruised. The masseurs were very nice however and honesty, I may just be so tense in general that this would have been my experience regardless. The afternoon tea was very nice, though I would have preferred of the tea leaves were left in to steep longer, as my tea, lovely though it was, was very weak. I have had better afternoon teas, but being seated in front of the fireplace made up for any lackings. Finally, breakfast was excellent. Our waiter was very nice, but overly talkative. My wife and I do not like being instructed to have children as soon as possible this was unprompted. However, the meal itself was excellent and very well done.

Absolute charm from beginning to end. Always greeted with a warm welcome from front desk staff. Hazel was there at our last check in and she is terrific at what she does. Swift check in and sure to greet you, making you feel at home. We had a gorgeous room which was spacious and romantic. We always relax at the pool and enjoy the silence. A phenomenal getaway from our crazy lives and a place I refer to as my sanctuary. Thanks again Prince of Wales and Hazel for an outstanding trip!

Went to the Prince of Wales for Xmas brunch. The food was great and the pastry chef brought me out a special dessert for my dietary needs. The manager was asking the rounds ensuring everybody was having a good time. The only problem was that our waitress was pretty slow with drinks, coffees, and the bill. If it hadn't been a buffet we'd have still been there on boxing day waiting for her to bring food. Overall a great experience despite our super ow waitress.
