Dr. Patel has no clue how to handle dogs. I brought my pup here for his second set of puppy shots, and my pup started teething on him. He violently shook my dog's head and shouted "no biting" and told me I needed to control him better. He riled up my pup and this made my pup go after his fingers, and he just handled him roughly without any compassion and seemed as if he was just after the money. No explanations on what vaccines he gave until I had to ask. Very abrupt and rude! The prices are lower for a reason. Take your money elsewhere for he caused my dog to now fear going to the vet. I'll never go here again and I think you shouldn't either!

Dr Patel is an amazing doctor that has reasonable prices compared to other vets in the city.
He does not discriminate against pitbulls, and always gives me the best advice possible, and I trust my two fur babies with him. Thank you again so much for making sure my Pomeranian was comfortable during her visit, and for being a great doctor!response / report this review -

Dr Patel has been excellent veterinarian. Cost for spaying my puppy was very much low compared to other clinics. The front desk girs are very professional and kind.

I brought my kitten in for her first set of vaccines and an exam and Dr. Patel was very rough with her. She was crying a little and he shook her sharply and told her to shut up. She is a very sweet kitten, but was obviously very uncomfortable at the clinic. He was short with her and very rude. Our appointment was towards the end of the day, and he just seemed very dismissive. He barely explained anything and seemed annoyed that we were there. Definitely didn't seem like someone who likes animals. I'll be taking her elsewhere from now on.

Amazing doctor. Blown away by how low the prices were. Easily 1/4 of any other vet clinic I've been to.
Easily the best option if you live in the NE for your dog or cat (or any other per you have)

I have been involved with various aspects of the pet industry for about 27 years. Breeding and showing dogs, a pet groomer, training in various aspects from obedience, agility, tracking, movies, etc. boarding, consulting, nutrition, rescue, foster, nursing back to health from major cuts to diabetic animals needing subcutaneous fluids everyday. I have met many vets over the years. This was my first visit to Dr. Panel's establishment and I am very, very pleased with the care.
He is a man who does not push unnecessary tests, add on's, etc. And went above and beyond to also help me with something I needed for another dog without demanding to get paid a consultation fee. His prices are exceptional, especially for those of us who love our pets but do not have large bank accounts. He reminds me very much of the old time vets I used to deal with 20 years ago.
Dr. Patel will now be my fulltime vet for my houseful of fur-babies. Thankyou againwe appreciate youresponse / report this review -

Our experience with Dr. Patel and his receptionist was great. We had to euthanize our dog. They treated us kindly and with complete dignity. The price they quoted on the phone was what we paid with no hidden fees when you go to pay. Not to mention that his prices were a third of what other vets charge!

The staff are super friendly and the vet is extremely gentle and caring with my black lab puppy hes gentle and even gets kisses from my dog. Extremely happy with all of my visit to him since I got my pup highly recommend to anyone

Dr. Patel is fantastic. Every check-up or emergency we've had with our two cats has been handled quickly and professionally. The cost to get your cat spayed or neutered here is very affordable compared to probably any other Calgary vet.

Absolutely love this place! Originally starting going here because I had heard it was way less expensive than other vets, which is very true. But I love the experience too! Crystal, the assistant/receptionist is super friendly and clearly loves animals. I usually go there and just let my cats roam around the waiting room as it is always empty and they're a handful. One of them decided to climb her chair while the other one sat on her desk meowing at her. Instead of being annoyed or bothered at all she just kept talking to my kittyas he mowed at her being like, "oh is that right" "oh tell me more". The doctor himself seems a little quieter but he clearly knows what he's doing. My cats have never been nervous around him. One time I even had to cancel last minute as my cat started smoking and died halfway there. No extra charge for not showing up and they were super understanding!
