Great atmosphere, terrible and slow service. Expensive for what it is.

Great place for lunch if you are hungry. Great service with good customer contact.

My favourite is Saturday morning Walleye Eggs Benny.

The Diner has limited hours to balance work with life. Good call

This place boasts homemade food but it was really hard to tell exactly what part of our meal was. Maybe the fries, maybe the onion rings but besides that, nothing. My husband got a burger and said it came on a crumbly bun, the patty tasted like a frozen one from the grocery store and a cheese single. My boys had chicken fingers which were your standard. I ordered a BLT which you can't really screw up but it was thin, 1 piece of lettuce, thinly sliced tomato, barely any bacon and a few bites with nothing but mayo. When I asked if they bread the fish in house for the fish & chips (because I was assuming this was all homemade food) I was told no so I'm just presuming it was a frozen, already battered fish. The service was ok but apart from that.not impressed, very disappointed and will not return.

Decent food. Eggs Benedict are a solid 4 out five. Old style diner. Good atmosphere. Bring your kids.

Terrible service. I arrived at 12pm on a Sunday and understandably had to wait. The lady working told me I had to wait in the main doorway area because of health code violations of having people stand around. It was cold and there was nowhere to sit. We waited for about 15-20 minutes to be seated, not terrible for a lunch rush. The waitress who served us (possibly the owner) was not friendly at all. Very short with us and rude. The food took forever to arrive. It was delicious though, only reason this restaurant received any stars. My friend asked for a refill of her water quite early on and she never got it. We were never given a bill or told where to pay. After a while we just went up to the front. We were all surprised by our bills. I had a sandwich with fries and a coffee and it was $16. We were looking for a new restaurant to try and won't be going back.

My husband and I REALLY wanted to like this place, and it has a fun, friendly old-school diner atmosphere, but the food was TERRIBLE, and so was the service. I had to try the deep-friend grilled cheese (how could you go wrong with deep frying + cheese?) but it was incredibly bland and inedible. Even the cheese inside was rubbery and totally tasteless. I couldn't finish it and I love cheese. The bread was light and fluffy, but the batter was dry and crumbly, with no seasonings that I could taste. The waitresses were running off their feet, and I did not get my coffee cup refilled in the hour that we spent there. We were so disappointed!

Fast, friendly service. The kitchen is always accommodative, This quaint space is done in the style of a 50s diner and a pleasant place to have breakfast or lunch. Gluten free options readily available.
