This was a great store, but unfortunately it has closed.
They got a lot of rare comic books on display, some of them are very pricey though. A big plus is all the back issues.
Rip off prices on Funko pops and most of times , to view if anything in stock from website then go to store to ask something I want to buy , Comix guys do not even to bother to check at backroom, Dishonest workers !!! I prefer other 401 games store because it have right prices !!
There prices are not reasonable! They are ridiculously over-priced! STAY AWAY IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOUR WALLET
Tons of comics and the employees all seem to be really friendly and helpful. Hard to find though, their sign is difficult to see from the street ever since they moved.
This has got to be the worlds most expensive comic shop. Prices are staggering. Like 5-10x their normal value.
In Response to below: Asking $500-2000 for multiple books that aren't even worth $150-200 has nothing to do with fluctuations. That's called price gouging
I have been to every comic book store in Toronto, since I was a kid, and this store ranks in the top 3 ever! with yesterdays heroes and the original Queen st. location for Silver Snails. The brothers that own this place, are very helpful, polite, and their prices are among the best around. Great for anime, statues and comic books
One of my favourite comic outlets. Great selection on current and back issues, trades and other collectibles. Prices are good! Membership option available Wich entitles you to discounting on almost everything except for new statues. Friendly helpful staff. Can be annoying navigating around people playing magic but it's a minor price to pay as they're engaging with their clientele and not their fault I choose not to participate. My go-to store for books, trades and toys by virtue of pics and selection.
I generally don't like places that charge a huge premium for variant issues and hot sellers so soon after hitting the shelves. It kinda makes it hard to be a casual fan. One Million does have a nicely stocked shelf and helpful staff though. I probably won't be buying many books there, but plan to keep going for toys and the occasional board game. I just wish the staff told me about the membership when I made my first purchases there since their sticker prices are marked up to offset the member discount.
