  Best nacho plate I've had ever! They really stack it up. Beer selection is very good and service is great if they aren't packed

  Service was very slow. Waited 10-15 minutes before anyone even realized we were there. It wasn’t very busy at all and the server didn’t even apologize for making us sit and wait. The drinks and the onion dip were good. For dinner both of our dishes had chicken in them, and in both the chicken tasted very burnt and rubbery.

  Service is terrible. Food is just average. We went here twice.
  
  The first time we asked for the check and the waitress quickly brought it over. However, we then waited over 30 minutes for her to come back and take the payment. It took 2.5 hours for both of us to have 1 drink and an order of fries.
  
  We decided to give it a second try and it was even worse. Food took a very long time to arrive. We were almost done eating before the waitress came by to ask if we needed anything. We asked for napkins, because there was none on the table. The napkins never arrived. Once we were done eating (all plates were completely empty) it took almost 30 minutes for us to grab our waitress' attention to get the check. We spent that whole time trying to get any waiter or waitress' attention and nobody even looked over at us.
  
  We will never go back.

  This place is ancient, like 155 years old. And the decor and ambience gives the same warm cozy feeling. The restaurant is part of the hotel. The service is a bit slow, but the food is good. If you are looking of greasy good pub food, and want to be part of history this is the place to be.

  Last Wednesday, our family visited Paddy 's for lunch. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Most ordered the express lunch - half beef dip on a bun with fries or salad. . One ordered the steak. All the food was excellent and the service was prompt and friendly. We even enjoyed wonderful choices from the dessert menu.. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Goderich.
