It was a nice quiet spot. Had a hockey tournament and our team stayed there. It was clean, convenient and good little restaurants 3 mins away. Will stay again if we play there next year.

We had a great time. It was close to the town centre, and had a nice little forest trail behind it. We went in the fall so it was beautiful! The restaurant attached was definitely worth a visit. Pricy, but worth it. The food was amazing. The room was small - the inn is very modern now but clearly has the bones of an old motel. However, everything was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and funny, especially in the restaurant itself. We'd think about returning!

Motel style on one end, but my room was very modern and great. It's just north of Bayfield with its own beachfront area across the road and a surprisingly chic restaurant attached!

Absolutely fantastic service, very hospitable. From the drinks made by the bartender, appetizers shared, and each person's individual entrée and dessert. It was all magnificent! You must try for yourself. We will definitely be back! Thanks to the Great Chef and Pastry Chef!

Had dinner at the Bourbon Bar and Restaurant and though the service was very good the food was not. Menu looks high end indeed the price are but there are no real choices to make. Everything on the menu is way out there in fact so out there that most everyone order as I did the Blue cheese burger which was a normal burger with this awful blue cheese dressing. Though I like blue cheese, I scraped it off and asked for mustard and relish. The fries were like little tiny burnt sticks, this isn't an exaggeration. My wife had the beets and vegs (main dish). Vegs were almost raw and totally plain. She used ketchup as a dip and using ketchup is something she might do once in a blue moon. Bill totaled over $110. with tip. Example a rack of ribs (not full rack, not 1/2 rack but 1/4 rack) $27. Won't be going there again, ever!

Fanciful ingredients do not make up for a lack of execution. Our experience started poorly with having to get our own menus, after being seated. After a lengthy wait (and tables seated after us received their starters) our order was finally taken. A table of only starters were ordered. Each one a disappointment. Pork belly dry and chewy (how does that even happen?). Confusing cauliflower wings, and dry, bland duck wings. The only glimmer of potential was the wood fired pizza, with it's copious ingredients it tasted good but it's chewy crust was a bit of a dampener on an otherwise "alright" pizza.

I got to the hotel after driving from Toronto and they screwed up my reservation that I had booked 6 weeks ago, even though I had paid the deposit. They said they were all
Fully booked and tried to say it was my fault even though I called twice to confirm the reservation. After arguing with them they said they would call around Bayfield to find another reservation for us. They found another hotel and said I still had to pay the full price of the room. I requested a discount at least because of the hassle and stress it caused. They refused. After arguing with them for another 15 minutes we decided just to leave. When we said we were leaving they said they would pay for the room, but by at that point we were so upset that we just left. It ruined my boyfriends birthday and we drove all the way back home. Terrible customer service. I understand mistakes happen, but the least they could have done was offer a discount or dinner or some sort of compensation instead of arguing with us, just shrugging their shoulders and sending us somewhere else. This was clearly their fault and after arguing with them for a while they refused to take responsibility. Very disappointed and it spoiled our romantic getaway for my boyfriends birthday. I would stay away from this hotel.

Stayed overnight in a 'family' room, with three queen beds - one downstairs, two in a loft. I loved the feel of the room, which was spacious and had a modern, clean design, as well as the utility. We ate and drank at the restaurant, which was fantastic and a highlight of our trip. The food is simply fabulous, and very reasonably priced. Drinks are delicious, and the bartender had a great working knowledge and easily made cocktails to suit our tastes. Overall, highly recommend this place - it is a gem.
