It baffles me why people do not give 5 stars to Munro’s. Great literature selections, fantastic curios and quirks, with a nice ambiance to boot.

One of the top 10 book stores in Canada. Restored bank building with original art work by Carol Sabiston and a fine selection of books. Check the Canadiana and excellent children's selection. A wonderful place to lose yourself for 2 or more hours.

One of the few small, independent bookstores left. Like Audreys Books in Edmonton it may not have the largest selecting of the bigger chain bookstores but is a much more comfortable and enjoyable place to browse for books.

OMG! A great book and mortar book store. I like B&N but indies are the best and this is the best of the best. Also, lots of titles we Yanks wouldn't see.

The kind of bookstore that really inspires reading. Gorgeous space, great selection, good assortment of discount reads as well. Very helpful staff. Love coming here to grab a book, then head down the street to devour it at a nearby cafe.

Really cool bookstore to check out, even if you're not into reading books. Used to be an old bank so the architecture and layout of the bookstore is really nice.

Munro's is already a favorite Victoria haunt for me. As a publisher here in town, stepping in this store feels like sacred space. I couldn't make it down there this week to buy some gift certificates, so I purchased them via their website. Just another above and beyond service. No shipping charges and they were received within 2 days. And they came with a beautiful card with a handwritten note.

If you like books, then you should come here. If you love books, then this is absolutely going to knock your socks off. Beautiful building, unbeatable selection, and great staff.
