  This is a great restaurant. Had their 3 course dinner special. The Fall Salad was wonderful. The Flat Iron Steak was prepared perfectly. The Apple Crumble was a sweet ending to a perfect dinner.

  Unfortunately the one vegan meal on the menu. Chickpea ragout,was really not good. My friend and I were really disappointed, as it truly reflected the lack of knowledge of vegan cuisine. We did; however, appreciated the free dessert we were given to compensate, and the service was excellent. Our meat eater friends loved their meal. Hopefully the chef will have the opportunity to refine the option for vegans in the near future. One choice is quite fine if it is a good one.

  Have dined here occasionally over the years, usually enjoying our meal. Last week, we took family members for a birthday celebration, wanting to enjoy a meal on the lovely patio. None of us ordered drinks, which possibly contributed to the service we received. We each ordered a different dinner menu item, and our food arrived within less than 10 minutes (how is this possible?).We felt very rushed - despite neither restaurant or patio being crowded. All of us deemed our entrees mediocre. What we had planned as a special birthday dinner turned into what felt like a 'fast food' experience.

  Romantic setting, great menu. A little pricey but wonderful for a date night. Had some great appetizers the other night. Love love love! They also have an ayce brunch on Sundays that is mind blowing.

  Wow, I just had one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten! The special is an incredible value. $25 for an appetizer, entree and dessert! Each course was absolutely amazing - the chocolate mousse was to die for. The service was fantastic too. I highly recommend the Fireside Grill! I

  We really enjoy going here for lunch. Some of the best fries in Victoria and fantastic seafood chowder. It gets a little too packed around dinner for us to enjoy the experience fully, but good for them! We stick to lunch and it is a nice experience.

  Great food. Fresh and interesting options. Nice atmosphere. Especially pretty at night time. Equally nice date destination as it would be a lunch time family gathering place.
