  Generally I enjoy coming here for music bingo night or otherwise. The food is exceptional pub food and some of the best you’ll get. However, on busy nights on many different occasions the service has been downright terrible. It can be anywhere from 10-15 minutes before a server even comes by to say anything. I understand they’re busy but at least drop a couple menus off and say hello. I would give them five stars if it wasn’t for the terrible service.

  This has become me and my friend's new go to place when we want to be at a pub. Awesome staff, awesome food and awesome beer. I've even recommended it to my friends.

  Just had a chicken burger. The worst burger ever. The meat was burnt! Very thin meat and all bun. The waitress response was the marks on the chicken were grill marks. The marks were actually black and tasted burnt.But the waitress said she inspected it ! (I didn't know the waitress was a chef). Had to pay full price. Very disatisfied. Told her we won't be back. She was okay with that.

  Maude's is my local go-to for a cold beer and good conversation with friends. You MUST check out their fries - they beer batter them and are incredible. Lots of university students so the place is always hopping and exciting! See you there!

  Food is great It's not just greasy pub food Lots of drink selection. Rather loud in evenings. Popular with UVic students. Always clean. Highly recommended from a returning customer who is generally hard to please.

  Went for beers with a buddy, spent the next hour and a half getting ignored by the waitress in a leopard print dress. Haven't been ignored by a girl like that since I was in highschool. I would sooner mouthwash with buckshot then go back.

  It's been a while since I've visited Maude's and I feel like they've really upped their game on their food! I had a vegetable wrap with fries and the wrap had some great flavours and the fries were INCREDIBLE.

  A surprisingly good pub. It is a walk upstairs (no elevator). They have ample indoor seating a decent outdoor patio. They have limited free parking and some nearby street parking that is both free and paid.
  Food and beer selection is great. Their recipes are quite tasty.
