I am writing this as a Mr. Rooter excavation crew sits their truck on my front lawn. The issue started with a clogged sewer line at the front of my house. Todd from Mr. Rooter (Todd was good to work with) came and scoped the main line and found it was partially collapsed due to tree roots. He cleared the clog but notified me that the issue will continue until the main line is replaced. The quote was $3100 more than others that I got, but went with Mr. Rooter because they had better reviews. The came the following week and excavated two pits in my front lawn, repaired the sewer and backfilled. Part of the quote noted that restorations are not included and soil compaction IS included, which is understandable. I got home from work that day and found two large piles of dirt where the pits were dug. This tells me that little to no compaction was done. They said they left excess soil on top to allow for sinking, which I agree with, but almost 16" of excess soil is too much if they actually compacted properly. My career is civil construction. I contacted Mr. Rooter again to question this, they sent a crew today to remove the excess dirt (which I didn't ask them to do, I said it needs compaction so sinking will be minimal) they told me "you're going to have a 2ft hole when it sinks" but if it was compacted, it wouldn't be sinking 2ft. On top of this, dirt was spread around my front lawn which is now killing my grass, plus there are now tire tracks going up my lawn from them driving there truck up it to remove dirt I didn't ask to be removed. Derrick did the work fast. After following his company’s assessment/estimate protocol, he started the work right away. The job is finished in no time. The fix is stable. Thanks for a job well done.

I have used Mr. Rooter services in the last 3 to 4 years and they are always prompt and provide great service
Recently I had flooding in the basement due to a collapsed pipe which caused back up in sewage and water in all of the basement. I contacted Mr. Rooter and they always come through. Being overwhelmed and in panic getting up Saturday morning only yo step in puddle of water. Anthony drain technician came and told me what the issue was. I called couple of restoration companies and they were all busy from the down pour on Saturday and no one was available until Monday. House smelled like sewage and i have senior parents in the house. Anthony was able get in touch with a restoration company they work with and managed to have them come to the house same day. I was very thankful of the quick service. Once the restoration company did their part Anthony and Igor and team replaced all old clay pipes in the house and driveway.
Service is fantastic, very professional and responsive. Their job is guaranteed high quality.
Anthony, Igor and team thank you for the quick and clean job. I was very impressed.

It was great having Mr. Rooter, especially the technician Joseph! He did a fantastic job in locating our main drain. He has a sense of humour and he is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He knows what he was doing. Before starting any work, he make sure I know how much I will be spending, which is such a great way to put customers at ease! Thanks again Joseph. I will continue to recommend Mr. Rooter for there great service.

Had to call them for faucet leakage and drain pipe. I called them at 9 am and plumber was at my place by 11:30 am. This is call service.
ANDREW PAVAO is very good and knowledgeable. He gave right feedback and suggestion. He fitted things nicely and cleaned everything.
In term of pricing, they will be bit expensive compared to other mom and pop shop but if you are looking for quality than it make sense. They called one day after the job is done to make sure customer is happy.response / report this review -

Very good experience!!! Received a call to confirm appointment. Also received a text message as a reminder. Received a call to check for service quality before and after the appointment. The call centre was extremely professional. Curtis the plumber arrived on time and fixed the issue. He was professional- friendly and quick!

On Sunday July 31,2021 my kitchen sink clogged and I called Mr. Rooter from their website, could not reach them and I didn't leave any messages. Next morning Richard from Mr. Rooter called me and asked if I still need any help. It was so nice of him! He booked me and send Luke who came just in time. I appreciate. Luke was very professional and friendly. He finished the job in a professional manner. Not only that he also gave some important tips and advice. I really appreciate their service. I will recommend Mr. Rooter to my family and friends.

Mr. Rooter of Mississauga provides excellent customer service, fair pricing and quick turnaround time. Luke Cobham, (technician) was able to listen to our concerns and come up with a corrective solution that works. His extensive knowledge and attention to detail is much appreciated. I was looking to replace an old toilet. Initially tried to call and order from a big box storeno one answered. Instead, called Mr Rooter and had Kris out within the hour. They took the old toilet and installed the new one shortly after. Clean & efficient. Time is money, and they saved me a lot of time.

The dispatcher at Mr. Rooter was very polite and clear about the process of getting quotes on my plumbing issue and making an appointment with a plumber. I made an appointment for around 12 the next day and received a call that Todd would be there within the hour. Todd arrived in time and thoroughly explained to me why my kitchen sink pipe might be leaking and that snaking my clogged sink might solve the problem. He told me about both the regular and members’ pricing for the plumbing and started working on it once I decided to go ahead with it. He worked very hard on unclogging my greasy kitchen sink and now it works just fine! No standing water any more. He also identified other plumbing problems that might need resolving in the near future and sent me an estimate for each job. Thank you, Todd! Mr. Rooter also gave me a courtesy call later in the day to make sure their service was satisfactory.

EVERYONE PLEASE BEWARE!! I deeply regret using Mr. Rooter service. I was quoted $590.90 (through email) for furnace repair. Then got billed $3343.11. It was either an error or scam technique. After all of the troubles, I paid $2367.09 (did not include warranty, furnace broke down a year after which is why I am writing this review). After paying at that time, I found out a BRAND NEW HIGHLY EFFICIENCY FURNACE only costs $4000 all together. I paid a high price for a life lesson. I trusted Mr. Rooter because of their high reviews. I was WRONG. Over the past year, I have been paying extra $ for using same old furnace as well. I have original emails and invoices to prove what I am claiming is true. I definitely do not recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone.

The technician Todd White came to fix the mixing valve today. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained to me the difference between replacing the valve or removing it (as suggested by the water heater rental company). I took his advice and had it replaced. He did an excellent job and I look forward to having hot water without interruption.

I called in for service to have my newly renovated kitchen sink hooked up. Todd had all the parts in the trunk and completed the job very neatly. Great price and even comes with a warranty!
