Simply put, from start to finish, our experience with Spanco has been amazing! We met Jason prior to placing an offer on our new home after our realtor put us in touch. We wanted to get an estimate about the work (roof, siding, etc.) that was identified in the inspection report that would need to be addressed, as it was factoring into our decision to purchase.

Jason came through on short notice, and took the time to walk us through the findings, and give us a rough estimate of what to expect. Even prior to any obligation or agreement, he was already great to work with, and took the time to explain the findings, and to explain what couldn't be confidently commented on without a deeper dive. The attention to detail out the gate was outstanding.

As we moved forward and purchased our home, we went ahead with the estimated work, which commenced without delay literally the day after we took possession.

We ended up having a slew of different tradespeople come through to handle the roof, joist work, masonry, electrical, and gas fitting. Each and every person that rolled through under the Spanco banner was professional, polite, thorough, and efficient. With so many moving parts, we didn't skip a beat. We knew when people were coming and going, what work was being done when, and when there would be disruptions noise, etc.

What really stood out for me was the communication between us and Jason. As the project moved forward, we had questions, and there were certainly moving parts to the quote as we found more things. Each time we had a call, we never felt rushed. Jason always made sure to take the time to ensure our questions were addressed as best they could be. Even as I'm sure we asked the same questions a few times as we may not have understood, we were always met with full honesty and patience. This truly made a huge difference for us in being confident that we were making the right decisions.

In all honesty, I cannot recommend Jason and the teams at Spanco enough. End-to-end on this large month-long project was an overwhelmingly positive experience, and we're already pricing out some more work. We've already provided another reference to another homeowner on their work, and when asked about any areas of concern or drawbacks with our experience -- we literally couldn't think of any. Truthfully, they may be ever-so-slightly more expensive than other outfits -- so sure, you could probably find cheaper if you tried -- but given the quality and calibre of the work, a little premium like this is an absolute no-brainer.

In the process of getting our house ready for sale, our real estate team has connected us to Jason and Span-Co. We had several minor repairs to be done, but the timing was very very critical (and stressful) with only a few days before being on the real estate market. The same day our real estate agent made the connection, and late in the evening, we could easily communicate with Jason, and the next morning he came to evaluate himself the nature of the job. The following day the job was completed. Amazing service, friendly and prompt, but also amazing job! They did exactly what was needed, very reasonable cost, top quality work, clean, and very nice to interact with We were super happy.
The next day, we noticed another small electrical thing we wanted to get fixed: We called back Jason and in no time he sent us an electrician. What a great experience! When time is very sensitive (the house going on listing) it can be stressful to find the right people to do these jobs: painting, electricity, etc. Here, one contact: Jason, and all goes smooth! He is the guy you want to have the number in your address book! We will definitely work with Jason and his company again in our future home and we truly recommend him.

My experience with Span-Co was excellent. I had hired them to perform some repairs and touch ups in my condo townhouse. They were always very responsive and organized in setting up work dates and getting it done on time. Their work was also of a very high standard. Rafi, who handled most of the work, is very friendly, knowledgeable and always had creative solutions for problems. Would highly recommend and would gladly hire again for future projects.

Okay, so bear with me. This is a long one. Renovations in general, are extremely stressful for us. We have pets, and we are sensitive people. Very sensitive people. We don’t tolerate noise, dust and general disruption in our lives well. So you can imagine how difficult it was for us to make the decision to renovate two bathrooms and the electrical panel in our condo. Now, Condo renovations are even MORE stressful because we had to deal with the board and management office and their myriad of rules and regulations that comes with the territory. We looked at several contractors and companies before reaching out to Span Co. As soon as Jason ( the project manager ) came into the picture, we knew they were the company for us. Not only did he understand our anxieties surrounding our pets, he also was super patient with our pickiness and communicated with us every step of the way. Honestly, it wasn’t perfect ( no renovation project ever is ) and mistakes are made, and sometimes there are issues, but the way mistakes are handled is what people remember in the end, and Span- co is the most responsive, responsible and efficient company at fixing and addressing any issues that come up I have ever dealt with. Also to note, the various teams and people who came in to do the work, were really lovely, and to the most part tried their absolute best to make sure we are happy. We have had 2 other renovation projects done before, and this experience comparatively, was made 100% better because the PEOPLE of Span Co who are incredible. I have attached some before and after pictures, to show some of the brilliant work by the teams and I have to say, the work is amazing. Having used the new shower for a couple of weeks now, I am still in disbelief that it’s is actually our place, it’s that lovely in person. Well done Jason, you are the reason why we stayed ( mostly ) sane during this project, why we would ALWAYS come back to your company for renovations and why we would recommend you to anyone who asks who did the work!
