Good Lordy. Where do I begin? This is a great little place to practice yoga on certain dates only. Let me explain and try to maintain my composure while doing so:
    - This place is located in a weirdly small little plaza right on a the busy road. Limited parking spots. There are some spots on the side road and back but you have to risk getting a ticket.
    - Their practice room is in a very small room in the basement. I repeat. In the basement. In. the. basement. with. no. windows. So, if you're claustrophobic; be prepared to meet your death.
    - Imagine 50 people cramped together in a little room in the basement, with the heat on. Each and every single person is sweating profusely. The Instructor repeatedly asks everyone to "stick out their tongue and sigh and breathe out loudly". So basically, you are breathing other people's vile breath and odour for the ENTIRE duration of the practice. If you like breathing in other people's breath/odour for 60 straight minutes while you bask in puddles of other people's sweat, then YOU WILL FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. Personally, I'd rather do my breathing exercises and poses in fresh air.
    - In order to avoid over-crowding, you have to go in at odd times (early on weekends)

Overall, it's a great place. However, the over-crowding room with stinky people, dingy basement and an extremely limited parking space makes it a deal breaker for me. I hope you have a better experience than I did.

If I could, I would give this place a zero for their customer service, inability to problem solve, incompetent staff and lack of communication within the company.

I purchased a Groupon in January, went into the studio to sign up and was turned away because I previous practiced in the studio. Gabriela (manager) said she would make a note by my file, allowing me the $60 intro special instead. I went through the trouble of getting a refund from Groupon.

Next time I went to the studio to sign up for a $60 intro special, the receptionist looked up my file. Turns out Gabriela never put down the note. This is the second visit and I have been turned away yet again. Instead of offering a viable solution, I had to take the initiative to tell the receptionist to get the manager to call me, as I will not be wasting any more time coming back to the studio just to get turned away.

A few days later, Gabriela calls me, apologizing profusely. She told me she accidentally put the note under "Stephan Chong" instead of my name. She rambled a lot instead of coming to a solution. I said it's okay, everybody makes mistakes. Finally, she tells me she put down the note beside my name and that I am able to utilize the $60 special the next time I come in. She did not tell me there is an expiration date for this offer.

When I decided to sign up for yoga the third time, I called the studio in advance. The receptionist tells me that the $60 intro offer expired January 31, 2017. I was not notified of this at the time I spoke to the manager.

That being said, I don't recommend this studio as it will give you more headaches than peace.

I purchased a Groupon deal and the date of the voucher was not the same as the expiry date of my classes. I am quite surprised that as I arrived there, instead of offering a solution to my problem or a complimentary class as a gesture of good will, they turned me away. This was quite infuriating as I rushed home from work and spent 45 minutes on the road to make it to the class. I would have been inclined to continue to give them my business but because of the lack of flexibility and understanding, not to mention the attitude of the associate at the desk, I will never come back again. The sole purpose of a Groupon is for the business to gain new customers in the hopes of retaining them. It is clear that Moksha Yoga doesn't value their customers and hopes to stay in business solely based on their overpriced rates. Spend your money somewhere else.

For the price you pay- the "customer service really lacks" - and the app they have, if you cancel a class it is still considered a "No show"- if you have 3 you get locked out of the app for 3 months. I didn't know you get punished at yoga!? Considering this is suppose to be a very welcoming space, and it's very expensive- I am extremely unhappy!! I LOVED the app as it helped manage time for myself in my busy life! I own two extremely successful businesses- My customers are always happy, because they are always right - comming to my businesses I never want an unhappy client, so I make sure I try to accommodate my best for them.

This system for their yoga app, doesn't make sense- if you can not come to a class and you cancel, it should be just fine. Way to go and discourage people from their mat when it should be encouraging!

I wrote an email to them, and the response was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard in my life!!!

This is also for begginers, (I am not a begginer) I can only imagine how discouraged some begginers feel about this app consequence. You guys need to change that- people pay a lot of money to attended and to get good energy, to "lock out" a client from the app because they "canceled a class" 3x from the app is ridiculous.

I can understand if they were complete "No shows" but in my case, that's not the case!

The teachers are wonderful!! The classes are wonderful (for begginers)!!! The customer service could be much much better!!!

Pros : good clean atmosphere. Place is well built, maintained and elegant. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Facilities are extra nice.
Cons : cost (note - they aren't nearly the most expensive AND offer both a groupon and sign up deal)

Yoga has really helped me mend some sports injuries that were plaguing me. Muscle stiffness lead to other issues which got out of hand. This TRULY helps. I just wish it was a little bit more economical so I could be going on the regular.

    Service 5
    Facilities 5
    Overall experience 5
    Cost 4
