They have a good selection here and it is a fair sized store. The food court is good with lots of options and very reasonable pricing. The down side is this location is extremely busy and it's a zoo on the weekends. For little odds and ends you can't beat it though

The Ikea in Vaughan is close to my house and its a great location. Region is nice and quiet. I would rate it 5 stars but the prices are a bit too high. Good store though

A really good place with a great variety of furniture, food, and accessories. You could stay there for a long time, trying to find the item you want, and it'll be there. My only real compliant, was that they removed the $1 meals at the buffet. Other than that, it's a good place to shop

I love Ikea! I love walking around and get ideas for my house. I have been doing this for over 30 years. Can't wait to get the new catalogue and rifling through the pages. But better than that, I go to the food court for their butter chicken and jerk chicken soup or the Swedish meatballs. Very affordable and tasty servings for the whole family.

Big store. Lots of room to see products. But seriously when you have 12 cash lines why open only 3 and no self checkout? And for buyers - it is not fair to others behind you to ask cashier for every price and decide if you want it. That's done before it even goes on your cart.

Great place for a variety of things including having a sit-down meal. I love their products as well as relatively low to moderate pricing. I do wish they would offer help when picking up rather heavy boxed ready-to-assemble furniture. This way, if RTA furniture is on your shopping list, make sure you visit the store with at least one, preferably two other persons.

It is a very nice place to spend time with the family. So many creative furniture and small things. Every time we visit here, we end up buying something not on the list.

It is also a good place to have casual meals and coffee. Price is right and the portion is nice too.

Don't forget to buy the ice cream before you go.

Not the best.your employees should be better trained in customer service area, not just tell me that you " think certain item its on aisle such and such and when helping someone to check your surroundings " an eye contact ", a " be with you shortly sir or madam " before wondering off to help another customer.
Would say visiting your store today made feel as if I was a home depot or any other big box store.

This is NOT IKEA furniture review. This is IKEA Corporate and Vaughan store review.
IKEA Corporate uses amazingly disgusting practice to flees customers of their money: I was after Kallax item which Vaughan store did not have in stock for 3 weeks. Every call to IKEA ended up with 'promise' that store will get it in a few days. Of course it NEVER got and particularly not this week when that item went on 5 days sale. BUT you can always order it on-line. That will be fine is IKEA did not charge delivery to THEIR OWN STORE?! Come on! How greedy can you be? You HAVE it in a warehouse but want extra money to deliver to your own store instead of keeping stock??? Disgusting. Why wasting money printing and delivering flyers if you have no stock in stores?
As Vaughan store goes, it is pleasant environment, with generous parking, big restaurant area to take a break. Never had issues with staff. You have to go to North York location and experience Hell on Earth.

It only takes a couple of employees to ruin a pleasant shopping experience, which made me rate them with 3 stars. This is not the first time we went to this store. Went today August 19, 2017. I understand that it somehow gets busy during weekends, but it is not an excuse for an employee to be a slacker on accommodating a customer who treats them politely. This Ikea store might start gaining more of a bad reputation for their unpleasant customer service.

    PROS:
    - Always friendly Cashiers (Food Section and Furniture Check out) and very polite parking/shopping cart attendants.
    - Good food at the restaurant section and reasonably priced.
    - Clean public areas.

    CONS:
    - Some employees tend to show a tired and unapproachable demeanor when the going gets tough despite being an all smile and friendly customer.
    - For the first time, we were assisted by this lady in the Kitchen Tables Showcase area today who instructed us what to do (she said "take a paper and pencil or take a picture for item details and pick it up downstairs) without checking if the item is available, as if she is in a hurry to let us go. We did our own research and found out that the details on the display is different with the details in their computer (showcased item shows Aisle 29, Bin 10, but their computer shows Aisle 0, Bin 2). Imagine us and other customers all crowded in the self serve area because of this hassle.

I LOVE this place! Everything from the restaurants to the washrooms. of course the things they sell!! Only criticism, the washrooms downstairs next to the elevators for family, are run down and can use some repair. And if you want to get something quick and get out, like my husband usually does - its impossible to do so. But I could live there if I had to!

Had a lot of good stuff for good prices. Really liked how they set up display rooms so you could imagine how everything would look in your house. One of the most fun shopping trips you can have

Tons of home furnishing options. Very organized system to retrieve your products from the warehouse. Reasonable prices. Cons for some would be the store is huge and they purposely get you to walk around it like a big maze to cover all the sections, not so great if you just came in to grab one item. Block several hours to shop here. Also most products require some form of assembly. Once you have done one, most are similar.

We ordered 53 items last week in store, but at delivery yesterday, only 41 had came. We had moving comping guy there ready to help us assemble from 2pm. The delivery was set to 1-5. First, they call us in the morning that they want to cancel the delivery due to whatever made up reason. We said no, we booked the elevator and assembler!! How can I rearrange!!? Then they said ok, they will come after 5pm. They end up came at 7:30, with 12 items missing !!!!! 12/53, that's more than 20%, a lot is part of the TV set and wardrobe system!! we couldn't really do anything!! Wasted a lot of my time and money.. call in today, the customer services couldn't really do anything so far, said some item was over sold and some just missing. They will get back to me later. You would think they have a week to prepare, they should be able to notified you if any item is OVERSOLD before the delivery!!!! Not just showing up leaving you part of the order, let you have bunch of large boxes sitting at home cannot be assembled, blocking everything, and don't know until when!! Terrible experience, absolutely irresponsible. Very disappointed.

This particular IKEA is fairly well laid out and has all the most sought after products. Expect friendly (but busy) staff, lots of displays, and a decent cafeteria-style restaurant. New seating has been set up on ground floor at the grab 'n' go food area, making the trip starting/ending hot dog or sundae cone that much more enjoyable. If you're looking for a sale item, do show up early or call to check availability! The IKEA app is your friend throughout the store, and free wifi makes it easy to use in and out of store.
