I loved this company!!! My husband and I were shopping around for cork flooring and went to a few different stores initially. When we came to Metro, we realized the prices were WAY less than what others were offering and the sales associates were amazing and knowledgeable. We booked them immediately and they installed our vinyl flooring shortly after. The floor looks amazing, better than we even expected.
Shortly after, we decided to use them for our tile install as well. Mike, the manager we worked with actually researched some products that were the same exact color/style that were cheaper from other suppliers in order to save us money. He went out of his way to help us!! We thought that was really great of him to do that. The tile guys installed tile in our bathroom and again, better than we even expected. Everything was done in a meticulous manner and to perfection. Mike came out a few times to ensure everything was done to perfection and anytime we had a question, he came to our house in order to discuss in person. I think that's above and beyond customer service and beyond what most people would do. The entire process was great and we know that when we have to finish up our basement in a year or so, we wont shop around because we will undoubtedly be going with Metro!response / report this review -

We used Metro for our main floor renovation (hardwood, tile, backsplash). Bahram and Mike were extremely helpful and kept in regular contact with us throughout the entire project and went the extra mile to ensure everything was done right and in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

My wife met Mike Reid at the home show and was instantly impressed with his knowledge about their product and his interest in helping solve our problem. Our old hardwood was a dark colour and the finish was mat, it showed every foot print. My wife would clean it and within minutes it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Every other flooring place we talked to told us if you want dark floors that’s what you can expect.
Mike told us of the different finishes available and the pros and cons of each. We went to the store where he gave us samples to take home and walk on. We picked out a dark oak with an oil finish.
The installers were amazing. First they checked our entire floor for squeaks. Fixed one I didn’t even notice until they pointed it out. They were meticulous. Tidied up at the end of each day. The floor is amazing. The heat vents were made from the same wood and matched perfectly. They built in a boarded surround around the fireplace hearth. The entire job was first class. Mike followed up the next day to see how everything went.
We have our dark floors and they do not show a mark. So easy to clean. My wife can’t say enough about them. I would strongly recommend Metro Flooring to anyone looking for hardwood. They know their stuff, have great selection and top notch customer service. They did what everyone else told me can’t be done.response / report this review -

I had to replace some carpet in my home due to our cats. My wife and I shopped quite a few stores and outlets. We had never heard of Metro but were driving down centre st one Saturday and saw a sign they had posted on the Blvd out front of the store. We found exactly what we were looking for. The install couldn't have gone smoother. We ended up with one of the best trades people we've ever dealt with as well the job was perfect! No issues. As well the sales person was great to deal with. Not a pressure guy and did his best to deal with every issue that came up. Would use them again in a heartbeat!!

I used Metro Hardwood to re-do my floors in my condo after a flood. I had gone to a few different company in the city and decided to use Metro Hardwood floors. They had exactly what I was looking for, I found they had the best selection. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, they came into my home, installed the floors within a few days. They moved my furniture around for me during installation, and returned after to do a detailed inspection. I would highly recommend them, they are honest with pricing and will not over charge you. I give them a 5 star rating for price, selection and quality of work.

My fiance and I needed to replace the floors in our new home, but had no idea where to start. We wandered into Metro one day just to browse and I’m so glad we did. The guys taught us so much about hardwood - I had no idea there was so much to it! Between the fair prices, the excellent customer service and our new great looking floors, they did an amazing job. I recommend them to anyone needing honest advice and quality hardwood flooring.
