  One of my favourite bookstores anywhere. Great selection and staff, and a very nice atmosphere. Bonus is its in the mall so there's free parking and you can get lunch or a coffee after you leave.

  Great store, great selection of books, and staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I had some last minute gift wrapping to do and Jordan B. was very helpful.

  Beautiful, spacious and well laid-out shop. Easy to find what I'm looking for - if they don't have it the staff is more than happy to see if it can be ordered. The atmosphere is delightful and the employees make you feel like family. Wonderful local shop for books, puzzles, household items and gifts. I make sure to stop in every time I'm at Hillside. A true treasure in the community!

  This has to be one of my favourite stops on my trip, a little dark but a great place to find hard to find books and unique gifts. Some of the most friendly staff you can hope for. If you love books this is your place to visit.

  Love the selection of cookbooks here, and all the fun games and gadgets found throughout the store. I always end up buying all kinds of things I didn't know I needed! Great spot for gifts and stocking stuffers!

  An excellent selection of vegan cookbooks and health focused books. A great selection of fantasy and fiction books. There's a huge selection of kids books, which gears the shop towards families. The lighting is on the dim side, however it leads to a home-like feel. There could also be more places to sit. Overall it's a lovely book shop to spend time in.

  One of the best bookstores in Victoria, and the best place to do all your gift shopping! Local, independent, and so very much better than any box store. Helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere, amazing stock. If they don't have it, they can order it

  Rarely can you describe a store as cozy, but Bolen Books is that and more. It's large, but not imposingly so, and the staff are always willing to help you find something.I love to casually browse the well laid out stacks. Located in the mall so there's plenty of parking, too.
